Over the past five years, we’ve accumulated a roster of superstar talent, the sharpest data scientists in sports, and most importantly, a loyal community of hundreds of thousands of passionate sports gamers.
Today, over 100 talented contributors cover more than a dozen sports in the areas of fantasy sports, best ball, and sports betting. To recognize how far we’ve come, we’ve decided it’s time for a refresh.
When we started this site, we set out to introduce a more calculated and process-oriented approach to DFS. The transition from Awesemo to Stokastic builds on that core mission, with the name referring to stochastic processes, which, while eluding precise measurement, can be statistically modeled to reveal critical patterns and insights.
Our website has already transitioned over to Stokastic branding and our new domain Stokastic.com. All Awesemo.com pages should redirect you automatically to the new site. The branding will continue to be rolled out across all channels, including social media and YouTube, in the coming weeks, so be on the lookout for more updates.
We’re excited about our new name and branding, but nothing else is changing. Our mission, values and purpose remain the same. And you’ll still have access to the same great content, data, and tools.
