MLB DFS EARLY Pitchers 6/20 ⚾️ 🏖️
Will Warren vs CIN 4.1 runs: The mercury will be pushing into the 80s and there is a stiff 12-17mph breeze to right center, which bodes well for LHBs. The Reds projected lineup has five high strikeout candidates (HKCs) with a 24+ K% against RHPs since the start of last year. Warren has failed to close the 5th in his last two outings, though he has logged 98 and 91 pitches. He will need to mitigate lefties JJ Bleday and Nate Lowe, but should have K-upside.
Chris Sale vs MIL 3.4 runs: Jackson Chourio, Christian Yelich and Andrew Vaughn are the only worrisome bats for Sale, who continues to post an impressive 28.8% combined strikeout rate, getting nearly one-third of fellow lefties to whiff.
Kyle Harrison at ATL 3.7 runs: Drake Baldwin and Matt Olson are excellent in same-handed matchups, while the Braves also have a strong right-handed contingent. Harrison gets a nice advantage following RHP Jacob Misiorowski, which should give him an edge the first time through the lineup.
Nathan Eovaldi vs SDP 3.6 runs: The blind squirrel found a nut last night with the Padres plating 7 runs, all but one coming off RHP Jacob deGrom. That was just the third time they had such an outburst in the last 23 games, though the team is still last for runs scored with a dreadful .219/.292/.364 triple-slash line.

MLB DFS EARLY Top Stacks 6/20 ⚾️🎇
CHW at RHP Troy Melton 4.0 runs: Melton missed the first part of the season with elbow inflammation and was skipped over for his last turn with a balky back. He has had issues with lefty power and we need to keep in mind he has just over 80 IP at Triple-A and The Show. Colson Montgomery has been amazing since debuting last year, while Andrew Benintendi has been resurgent, even getting a pinch-hit grand slam this week. Sam Antonacci and Miguel Vargas round out the core four and this lineup will be really scary when Munetaka Murakami returns to action.
NYY vs LHP Andrew Abbott 5.7 runs: The Yankees offense keeps coming in waves, mitigating the absence of half their optimal stating nine. Walks are an issue for Abbot, who has handed out at least three free passes in 7 of 15 starts, with little in the way of K-upside to get himself out of jams. Anyone in pinstripes this afternoon is in play.
MIA vs RHP Trevor McDonald 4.4 runs: McDonald is a "crafty righty" getting by on movement and deception with his breaking balls and delivery. Opposite-handed power is a potential kryptonite, which is key since the best Marlins are swinging the stick from that side of the plate in Kyle Stowers, Liam Hicks and Owen Caissie. McDonald has essentially averaged a walk every other inning in his last four starts, so the hope for Miami is extra-base hits with ducks on the pond.

MLB DFS Top Stacks 6/20 ⚾️🎇
PHI vs RHP Freddy Peralta 4.4 runs: Even with one-run efforts @SEA and vs ATL, Peralta still has a 5.02 ERA in his last four starts, though his 3.35 xERA and 3.67 xFIP indicate he has been unlucky. Also unlucky is having to face the trio of lefties atop the Philly order in Kyle Schwarber, Bryce Harper and Brandon Marsh.
HOU vs LHP Joey Cantillo 4.7 runs: Expect a righty-heavy lineup, with bopper Yordan Alvarez likely the lone lefty against Cantillo, who has seen his Ks fall off a cliff from a strong 26.9% last year to a pedestrian 21.3% this season. Five of his 11 HRs on the season have also come in the last four games. While there are not a lot of sexy names for the 'Stros, they do provide salary relief across a variety of positions.
LAD vs LHP Trevor Rodgers 5.0 runs: Shohei Ohtani and his wife announced the birth of their second child and it is unlikely he plays today, though the team did not officially put him on the paternity list. We can look to the regulars against Rodgers, though do not lose sight of super-punts in Miguel Rojas, Alex Call, Alex Freeland and Chuckie Robinson.
MIN at RHP Zac Gallen 5.1 runs: Power continues to be a problem for Gallen, which bodes well for the top-five Twinkies tonight, with enough salary savings to easily lower the average stack cost, despite a lofty $6.2k for Byron Buxton on DK.
Yes, load up on PIT against RHP Tomoyuki Sugano, though keep in mind that both pitchers at Sutter Health Park will try to lean into their ground ball proclivity, though the Angels and A's are still in play.
MLB DFS Pitchers 6/20 ⚾️ 🚀 Cristopher Sanchez vs NYM 3.3 runs: Juan Soto, Bo Bic
MLB DFS Pitchers 6/20 ⚾️ 🚀
Cristopher Sanchez vs NYM 3.3 runs: Juan Soto, Bo Bichette and Mark Vientos are the only #LOLMets that raise even a modicum of concern for Sanchez, who had his "worst" outing of the season on Sunday, ceding 4 ERs with just 3 Ks in 5.2 innings at MIL. He trails only Jacob Misiorowski in the NL Cy Young Award race and is essentially matchup proof.
Yoshinobu Yamamoto vs BAL 3.1 runs: Nothing is going well for the Orioles, who dropped a 5-3 game in the bottom of the ninth, losing 6-5. Shohei Ohtani got the night off and the Batters of Birdland even had a pair of round-trippers against RHP Roki Sasaki. Now that have a much harder path tonight, with Yamamoto dialed in having allowed just 5 ERs in his last four starts spanning 35.2 IP with 5 BBs and 32 Ks. He has his work cut out for him, but he is among the elite frontline starters once again this season,
Connelly Early at SEA 4.0 runs: The M's were lucky in that Julio Rodriguez (hamstring) appears to have avoided any serious issues, though the team is still decimated by injuries and much better suited to take on RHPs. Early is best employed as an SP2 on DK, working into FD prominence for the late-slate as a differentiation piece. The projected Seattle lineup has four hitters with a 27+ K% against southpaws this season, with a collective lack of power, with only Rodriguez and Colt Emerson with above average power versus LHPs this season.
