Top Stacks 7/26 ⚾️🎇
ARZ at RHP Miles Mikolas 5.5 runs: The D'Backs vs The Lizard King is likely to be a one-sided affair. Arizona has 6+ runs in half of the last dozen games and everyone save for Ryan Wadschmidt profiles well against Mikolas.
WAS vs LHP Kohl Drake 5.1 runs: Drake has adequate stuff across the board, though nothing really stands out. That is a recipe for disaster as the rookie makes his second career start against the best offense in the league. Andrew Chaparro is a pinch hit risk when a RHP enters the fray, otherwise fire up the top-six Nats bats.
MIN vs LHP Jeffrey Springs 5.6 runs: After four combined runs in the first two games of this series, the teams need to wake up. There is merit for most of the Twins, though the focus should be on Byron Buxton, Ryan Jeffers and Royce Lewis, with Springs suffering a .270 ISO against opposite-handed batsmen this season.
ATH at LHP Connor Prielipp 4.7 runs: Prielipp is coming off the IL (blister on left middle finger), with the A's have Nick Kurtz back, which helps boost the offense that has been injury riddled. Focus on the top-six.
DET at RHP Luinder Avila 5.3 runs: We can go right back to attacking Avila, even though he had the best outing of his career on Tuesday. He has avoided HRs and gets strikeouts where they are easy, but his 5.0 BB/9 portend for crooked numbers. The top-seven Motor City Kitties are all in play.
Pitchers 7/26 ⚾️💪
Jacob Misiorowski vs COL 3.0 runs: Sunday's MEGA 12-game slate has ample options, so quick thoughts are in order. What more can we add other than play the best DFS pitcher in the game against an overwhelmed offense.
Logan Gilbert at TEX 3.7 runs: While he has not resumed his production from last year's breakout, Gilbert continues to be a steady frontline starter. The Rangers limit strikeouts, though the bottom four have a collective .071 ISO against RHPs this season.
Jacob deGrom vs SEA 3.8 runs: The M's have averaged 3.5 rpg since the break and are trending to fall behind TOR for the fewest runs scored this season. Though he is susceptible to power bats, that is not overly concerning this afternoon and the 38yo continues to pile up the Ks.
Emmet Sheehan at NYM 4.2 runs: The #LOLMets have topped 4 runs once in 8 games since the break and Juan Soto (calf) is now on the sidelines. Sheehan has a pair of 6-run mound meltdowns in his last five outings, though he doe have a stellar 27 Ks in these 23.1 IP.
Kyle Leahy vs. CIN 4.2 runs: Though the rookie does not have major K-upside, the Reds projected lineup has six hitters with a 24+ K% versus RHPs this season, making him a steady SP2 on DK ($7.7k).
Andrew Abbott at STL 4.6 runs: Quick, name four Cardinals. SP2 only for DK ($7.5K)
Ranger Suarez vs TOR: This is his first start in three weeks (groin/illness), but it is a good landing spot with the Blue Jays having scored 3 or fewer runs in 6 of the lat 9 games. The larger concern is a 75ish pitch count making it tough to return value on his salary.
