Pitchers 7/27 ⚾️💪
Chase Burns vs CLE 4.0 runs: DK has skipped the games in the 6 o'clock hour, leading to a vastly different slate than FD, which excludes Zack Wheeler and Keider Montero as options. The other challenge for Burns is from Mother Nature as the clear top arm is facing precipitation risk that must be monitored.
Tatsuya Imai vs LAA 4.2 runs: There is a lot of forgiveness with Imai's $6.8k salary on DK, though it is low for a reason. Inconsistency and a tough time acclimating to a new league and country have hampered Imai's DFS results. On a positive note, he has 34 Ks in his last 5 starts spanning 23 IP, thought 11 ERs and 12 BBs are a high ancillary cost. The Halos projected lineup has SIX high-strikeout candidates (HKCs), which along with weather concerns, is pushing Imai up the popularity rankings.
Payton Tolle at ATH 4.3 runs: Nick Kurtz returned to action this weekend, though Shea Langeliers injured his meniscus Sunday and may be out for the rest of the season with Brent Rooker. Zack Gelof and Joshua Kuroda-Grauer are also on the shelf and the absence of so many key bats is offsetting the tough pitching environment for Tolle.

Top Stacks 7/27 ⚾️🎇
The TOR@WAS game contributes two of the top four FanDuel stacks as the Nats take on franchise legend Max Scherzer, while the Jays get a nice matchup against "bulk" Andrew Alvarez and the Washington bullpen.
BOS at RHP Jack Perkins 5.7 runs: In his 8 starts, Perkins is averaging 3.5 IP with a whopping 10 HRs and 17 BBs in the 34.2 IP. He does have 43 Ks, indicating he is challenging hitters with impunity, which makes the BoSox boppers appealing. Look to the top-seven, plus it will be interesting to see where the newly acquired Curtis Mead slots in with the regulars.
CHC at RHP Matthew Liberatore 5.2 runs: In 6 of his last 8 starts, Liberatore has allowed 4+ runs with 32 in total across 37 frames. It appears his strategy this season is to challenge opposing hitters and while he has a career-best 8.64 K/9 IP, the 3.45 BB and 1.64 HRs are all-time lows. Look to the usual suspects from the Cubbies.
STL vs LHP David Peterson 4.8 runs: After suffering 10 runs in his second start for the Cubs, where he allowed 10 runs to the Redbirds, Peterson has ceded only a solo shot over his last 11.2 IP. However, he has still ceded 5+ runs in 7 of 20 appearances. Lucky for him, the Cards do not have a lot of power against LHPs, aside from Jordan Walker and Nelson Velazquez, but the projected lineup has only one HKC and a 16.4 K% against southpaws on the season. Mini-stacks from the top half of the lineup card are the best way to employ the hometown team tonight.
