Pitchers 8/3 ⚾️💪

Cam Schlittler vs STL 3.5 runs: There is a slight chance of rain, though the early forecast has things looking good for most of the night. The Redbirds only have two high-strikeout candidates (HKCs) in the projected lineup, though it is important to note that only the top three hitters have notable power numbers, with there rest of the order cobbler together a combined .110 ISO. Schlittler makes his own magic at the plate with a 30.7 K% and his median fantasy point projecting is 20%+ higher than the rest of the pool.

Justin Wrobleski at CHC 4.0 runs: The "Wrobot" has piled up 34 Ks in his last 26.1 IP and his 3.42 ERA is supported by a 4.10 xERA and 2.50 xFIP. There are 4 HKCs in the projected Cubbies lineup, though three are at the bottom of the order, so the southpaw is likely to only face each twice. There is a nominal breeze in from right field, though it is nowhere near as imposing as what occurred over the weekend.

Logan Webb at TEX 4.2 runs: The Giants have indicated they will not trade Webb, though Robbie Ray is expected to be moved prior to the deadline. There are not many easy Ks in the Rangers lineup, but that is not a strength for Webb, who leans into an excellent ground ball rate.

Brandon Sproat vs PIT 4.1 runs: Tournaments only, though there is upside potential, Sproat has topped 15 DKFP in just 2 of his last 7 outings. There are 4 HKCs in the projected Pittsburgh lineup and the loss of Ryan O'Hearn takes away a competent bat in addition to Oneil Cruz and Spencer Horwitz.

Top Stacks 8/3 ⚾️🎇

FanDuel is including the WAS@PHI game, which does provide a Coors Field Extravaganza countermove.

HOU at RHP Shane Bieber 4.9 runs: The Beibs has only 22 Ks in his 31.1 IP this season, with a hefty 18 walks. Focus on the top-5, with Taylor Trammell as an honorable mention with his pop against opposite-handed hurlers.

MIL vs RHP Bubba Chandler 4.6 runs: To his credit, Chandler has allowed only one round-tripper in his last five starts, he has ceded 11 BBs in those 25.1 IP, offsetting a mediocre 20 Ks. There are strikeouts in the Brew Crew lineup, though there is also power and the sum of the whole is greater than the individual parts. The core four are Brice Turang, Jackson Chourio, Jake Bauers and Garrett Mitchell, with William Contreras and Christian Yelich also acceptable selections.

PIT at RHP Brandon Sproat 4.1 runs: Look to the LHBs at the top of the order, providing a decent leverage spot against Sproat, particularly on DK.

NYY vs RHP Michael McGreevy 4.6 runs: When the rookie is not coaxing ground balls from the opposition (46.7% across his last 869 batters faced), McGreevy is susceptible to extra-base hits. Ben Rice is the foundational piece, with the top-7 providing a variety of positional coverage and salary levels for full-stacks.
