EARLY Pitchers 8/15 ⚾️ 🏖️
Logan Webb vs COL 3.4 runs: The ground ball artist has been less than stellar, though he does have 17+ DKFPs in 4 of his last 5 outings. Webb has an every other year pattern of strikeouts and while this is a down season dropping from a 26.1 K% to 19.1%, the Rockies do have four projected high-strikeout candidates (HKCs) in the lineup and while projecting the win bonus is folly, the Giants are -180 ML home favs and for the blue site fans, Webb has earned the quality start bonus in 10 of his last 13 efforts.
Sean Manaea at WAS 3.7 runs: This is not the same Nats offense without James Wood (IL) and key hitters like Luis Garcia and Curtis Mead traded away. Manaea is on the backside of his production curve, though the 11-year veteran still has appeal in this matchup as an SP2 on DK ($7.2k). It is also key to note that while Washington is likely to have 7 RHBs in the lineup, most have two or fewer seasons of MLB service time.
Cam Schlittler at TOR 3.3 runs: Despite an 11-5 record in their most recent stretch, the Blue Jays were still in the bottom-third of the league during this timeframe for runs scored. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is dinged up and despite an overall lack of strikeouts, the current iteration of the team is light on power. Schlittler is fourth among qualified SPs with an 11.2 K/9 rate and while it is no guarantee for today, he did have 7 Ks in each of his meetings with the Jays this season.
EARLY Top Stacks 8/15 ⚾️🎇
CHC vs RHP Michael McGreevy 5.1 runs: Lefty power has been a challenge for the youngster, with a .191 ISO against the last 518 opposite-handed batsmen since the start of last year. There is a light breeze in from right field, though that should not dissuade gamers from rolling out Pete Crow-Armstron, Michael Busch, Ian Happ and discount dandy Michael Conforto, with an honorable mention to Seiya Suzuki and Alex Bregman.
SFG vs RHP Michael Lorenzen 4.3 runs: The back half of the San Fran offense is pedestrian at best, though Rafael Devers, Willy Adames, Jung Hoo Lee, Victor Bericoto and Bryce Eldridge profile well against RHPs, giving us some solid clicks for a secondary mini-stack that looks to be underrepresented in tournaments.
NYY at RHP Braydon Fisher 4.2 runs: Expectations are that RHP Simeon Woods Richardson will be the "bulk" option this afternoon and while he has allowed only one run in 13 innings across four outings with the Blue Jays, his dreadful stinking stats with MIN this season are likely to catch up to him soon. Look to the LHBs first and the only southpaw in the bullpen has worked two of the last three days.

Pitchers 8/15 ⚾️ 🚀
Reid Detmers vs KCR 4.0 runs: The Royals have plated more than 4 runs in just 5 of their last 15 games. Detmers has three mound meltdowns in his last 14 games, though he has ceded three or fewer runs in the other 11 appearances. The erratic southpaw has produced a 10.7 K/9 rate in this span and his 3.26 ERA is supported by a 3.54 xERA and 3.35 xFIP.
Jacob Misiorowski at LAD 3.6 runs: There is a $1.3k premium for Misiorowski on FD and a $2.0k cap hit on DK over the next most spendy thrower. It is never fun going against the Dodgers, though the blue clad juggernaut has topped four runs in just 4 of the last 14 games. Misiorowski leads all qualified starters with 204 Ks, 13.8 K/9, an 0.74 WHIP and a 1.76 ERA. In his two games against the Dodgers last year, including the NLCS, Misiorowski had 21 Ks in 11 IP. Luck be a Lady tonight!
Jesus Luzardo at MIN 3.8 runs: In 11 of his last 12 games, Luzardo has 24+ DKFPs. While the projected lineup for the Twins has only three high-strikeout candidates (HKCs), there is almost no power from the bottom of the order and Luzardo makes his own magic at the plate with a 29.5 K% that is a tick above his stellar 28.4% from last year.
MacKenzie Gore at ATH 4.4 runs: This has been another mercurial season for Gore and while the park is not in his favor, there are 5 HCKs in the projected A's lineup and the uneven lefty has a 27.0 K% against right-handed batsmen across the last season and change.
Top Stacks 8/15 ⚾️🎇
TEX at RHP J.T. Ginn 5.3 runs: Ginn has been a solid pitcher on the road for the last season plus (3.35 ERA, .208/.278/.361 triple-slash in 110.0 IP), though like most of the A's hurlers, he has struggled at Sutter Health Park (4.96 ERA, .259/.352/.433, 101.2 IP). He has close to a 50% ground ball rate and it would not be a shock if he is able to hold the Rangers in check, though that still leaves half the game against the bullpen in the hitting friendly environment. Mix and match the Ranges as you see fit.
PHI at LHP Connor Prelipp 4.7 runs: The rookie is at a career high for innings and in his last two outings he has allowed 6 ERs, 6 BBs and 3 HRs across 10.1 innings. While Trea Turner and Bryce Harper have been dreadful against lefties for the season, they have been locked in for the last month, as has most of the projected lineup.
CLE vs RHP Randy Vasquez 4.4 runs: Something has to give with Vasquez, who has just 6 Ks in his last 25 IP. He has allowed a pair of round-trippers in this stretch, but a mound meltdown is in the cards soon. Focus on the lefties as a mini-stack for differentiation tonight.
LAD vs RHP Jacob Misiorowski 3.6 runs: Yes, the Dodgers are the direct leverage stack, though keep in mind that Misiorowski has allowed more than three runs only once this season and just four times in his 36 (11%) career starts. Vaya con dios mis amigos!
