Pitchers 8/27 ⚾️💪

Jacob Misiorowski at NYM 3.0 runs: There are several aces tonight, though Misiorowski is the clear apex predator. He continues to amaze with his velocity and strikeout rates and now he will be facing the #LOLMets. Currently Misiorowski is -2000 to win the National League Cy Young Award, which is about as big a runaway as we have seen with this much of the season left over the last few seasons in the senior circuit.

Chris Sale vs LAD 3.5 runs: Sale ranks second behind Misiorowski at +1000 in the Cy Young odds, with Cristophers Sanchez at +1200 (odds via HardRock). It is a tough matchup against the Dodgers, though Sale did manage to limited them to three runs during a May meeting in LA, striking out seven in seven innings. The pucker factor will be high as there are only three expected high-strikeout candidates in the lineup tonight, though with a 30.6 K% this year and a 35.2% last year, the 37-year-old is still able to make his own magic at the plate.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto at ATL 3.4 runs: The best assets for Yamamoto are the ability to go deep into games and limit runs. He has reasonable strikeout upside, though not the same as the prior two pitchers above. Matt Olson and Mike Yastrzemski are locked in right now against RHPs, though the rest of the batting order has been suspect.

Gerrit Cole vs HOU 3.9 runs: Cole has allowed only five runs in his last six starts spanning 30.2 IP and even reaching back 10 outings, eh still has a 2.83 ERA, 3.29 xERA and 3.00 xFIP. There are likely to be 4-5 HKCs in the Astros lineup, which combined with the salary discount keeps Cole in the decision tree.

Top Stacks 8/27 ⚾️🎇

KCR at RHP Spencer Arrighetti 4.5 runs: This will be Arrighetti's second start for the Blue Jays as he was rehabilitating an injury when he was traded from Houston. After a 61 pitch effort Friday, something in the 70-75 pitch range today makes sense, with the potential for an opener in as effort to soften the top of the 'Stros order. Look to the usual suspects in the top-five, with Taylor Trammell and catcher Yanier Diaz differentiation plays from the latter-third of the lineup.

NYY vs RHP Hayden Wesneski 4.7 runs: We will not be alone in rolling with the Yankees, so finding other differentiation will be key since the desirable options are among the top-four and wherever Jazz Chisholm Jr. lands on the lineup card.

MIL at NYM LHP Sean Manaea 4.4 runs: Opposite-handed batsmen still give Manaea trouble and they have been particularly productive over the last month. Gary Sanchez should be in the heart of the order and he is still able to get it done with the platoon-advantage. Jackson Chourio and Andrew Vaughn are the priority clicks, with William Contreras a neutral play who may end up more popular than Sanchez because of name recognition. The duo can be played together on the main DFS sits, with Sanchez having first base legibility on DK.
