Top Stacks 8/30 ⚾️🎇

MIL vs RHP Kumar Rocker 4.7 runs: Though he has had only one mound meltdown in five August starts, Rocker has a 6.00 ERA for the month, somehow surviving 13 BBs in these 24 IP with 24 timely strikeouts. Look to the LHBs in the top-five for the Brew Crew, along with scorching hot Jackson Chourio.

ATL vs RHP Mason Adams 5.1 runs: This will be the second start in The Show for Adams, who was brought over from the ChiSox in a deadline deal for Brenton Doyle. He is cannon fodder at best and has a tough task taking on a lengthy ATL lineup teeming with power. Look to the standard stacking components, along with Mike Yastrzemski for discounted differentiation from the bottom of the order.

MIN vs ??? 4.6 runs: RHP Jordan Hicks will be the opener, with RHP Jose Urquidy a likely multi-inning candidate, though as of this writing that is not confirmed. We should know more before lock, with the lefties from the Twins are the desired targets if we know it is this pair of right-handed hurlers leading the way.

SEA at RHP Max Scherzer 4.5 runs: The M's set up well against RHPs and Mad Max is looking every part of a 43-year-old pitcher. His last 14 IP have seen him cede only one round-tripper, though he has just 9 Ks against 10 BBs, with 10 ERs. Both squads are in a six-team scrum for the final AL Wild Card slot, so the hope here is we get a big inning from Seattle before the bullpen comes on the scene or some solo shots from the key contributors.

Pitchers 8/30 ⚾️💪

Tyler Glasnow at DET 3.3 runs: During his there month rehabilitation from a back issue, Glasnow worked up to 77 MiLB pitches and he cam out of the gat strong Tuesday with 89 @ATL. Aside from the five-figure salary and just two expected high-strikeout candidates (HKCs) in the projected lineup, Glasnow is a solid foundational play with a realistic 85-90 pitch baseline.

Parker Messick vs KCR 3.4 runs: This has been a breakout for Messick, who has two or fewer runs in 20 of 26 starts, with 3x3, 4x2 and 5 in the other six. While he is at a career high 155 IP, he has worked towards this level each of the last three years. There are only 2 HKCs in the projected KC lineup, though Messick has been making his own magic at the plate with a career high 25.5 K% that has jumped to 29.3% over the last month.

Tyler Mahle vs COL 3.6 runs: Shout out to the soon-to-be 32-year-old who has been cruising in his four starts for ATL. He lost most of his prime to a variety of maladies, so seeing him on track to have a moment for the playoff bound squad is heartwarming. There should be 4 HKCs starting for the Rox, giving Mahle some DFS upside.

Matthew Liberatore vs PIT 4.2 runs: Look to the lefty as an SP2 on DK ($6.2k) for salary cap flexibility. The Bucs are a haves and have-nots lineup against southpaws with Bryan Reynolds, Oneil Cruz, Esmerlyn Valdez and Rafael Flores dialed in, though the rest of the projected lineup is shaky at best.

Logan Gilbert at TOR 3.9 runs: Gilbert is a workhorse, but he is going to need to go six innings to collect enough DFS production to pay off today's tag against a strikeout stingy Blue Jays squad.
