Pitchers 9/6 ⚾️💪

Gavin Williams vs DET 3.5 runs: The breakout is back on track after the 27-year-old southpaw held TOR to one run, striking out 13 after his 5-run mound meltdown @LAA. He has double-digit strikeouts in 2 of his last 5 games, but 7 of his last 10 and the Motor City Kitties are expected to run out four high-strikeout candidates (HKCs) this afternoon. Giggity!

Ian Seymour at TEX 3.8 runs: The Rays are looking to mind the workload of their pitchers as they want to make a deep postseason run, though it sounds like Seymour will not have an opener as he did in his last game. He should still see 85-90 pitches and that has been enough for him to clear five innings. Though the Rangers are likely to have just 3 HKCs in the lineup this afternoon, Seymour has a wicked 29.3 K% on the season.

MacKenzie Gore vs TBR 4.0 runs: Aside from the three righties at the top of the order, Tampa struggles against southpaws. This crew limits strikeouts, but the power is almost nonexistent with four batsmen below replacement level.

Christian Scott vs SFG 4.4 runs: Though he has single-digit DKFPs in 3 of his last 4 and a concerning 9 BB in his last 10 IP, the anemic Giants may have used up all their runs for the weekend on Saturday. SP2 only.

Payton Tolle has a hefty salary, which means he will need to shake off his recent rookie wall slump to make his DFS backers happy @BAL. Paul Skenes looks good for an inning or two at a time, but he has failed to close out the fifth inning in two of the last three games. This duo is fine for tournaments as either could pop off for 20 DKFPs, but the pucker factor will be high.

Top Stacks 9/6 ⚾️🎇

FanDuel is including the Coors Field Extravaganza, which completely changes things up as there is a 30% likelihood that this game produces the top stack on the blue site.

TOR at RHP Randy Dobnak 5.2 runs: Lady Luck is going to abandon Dobnak at some point, with his 86.3 LOB% unsustainable and 15% over his career rate. He has walked nearly 3.6 per nine innings, with just 6.2 strikeouts per nine. The Blue Jays have middling power numbers outside the heart of the order, but they have a low K% and put A LOT of balls in play, which is where Dobnak's negative regression may finally catch up.

KCR vs RHP Spencer Arrighetti 4.9 runs: TOR may still go with an opener, but that should not dissuade gamers from looking to the Royals in the Kauffman Stadium heat and humidity. Jac Caglione left early Saturday and he is banged up, so tread lightly if he is in the starting nine, otherwise fire up the rest of the usual suspects.

CHC at RHP Tyler Phillips 4.6 runs: To his credit, Phillips does an excellent job of limiting power, though the top-5 Cubs can turn any matchup into batting practice.

NYM vs LHP Cesar Perdomo 4.6 runs: After all the trades and Luis Robert Jr. clearing waivers and moving to BAL, the #LOLMets are the thinnest they have been all season. We can still look to the top-4, though the latter portion of the lineup card is a rally killing wasteland. Perdomo is a "crafty lefty" which is not something you want to hear about a rookie who is the 41st ranked prospect for the organization.
