MLB DFS Top Stacks & Top Pitchers: September 19, 2026

EMac's top stack today: COL vs RHP Bryce Miller, 5.3 implied runs. The M's will be popular tonight against some combination of LHP Jose Quintana and RHP Ryan Feltner, however it is the Rockies that have my attention.

Tarik Skubal vs SFG · 2.8 runs

This just does not seem fair for the depleted Giants. #Analysis

Reid Detmers vs MIN · 3.8 runs

Hat tip to Detmers who has been outstanding after spending all of last season in the bullpen. He is at a career high for innings, yet is posting a career-low 2.38 BB/9 with a strong 10.23 K/9 and 0.93 HR/9. In his last seven outing he has closed out the 6th-inning or better, posting a 1.20 ERA, 2..47 xERA and 2.80 xFIP. The Twins have solid production this season against southpaws, though over the last 30 days only glove-man Ryan Kreidler has been anything approaching replacement-level. That could change on a dime, but it does not have to be tonight.

Joe Ryan at LAA · 3.7 runs

After missing a month with a strained glute, Ryan has tallied 66 and 84 pitches. He was dreadful against CLE on Sunday with one lonely strikeout in 4 IP with eight baserunners and four "Ernies." He was solid in his return @DET and although he has cleared double-digit DKFPs in only one of his last six appearances, he should see at least six high-strikeout candidates (HKCs) from the Angels tonight.

Cam Schlittler at ARZ · 3.4 runs

If you are looking for differentiation, Schlittler is your guy as his salary is $700 more than Skubal on DK and $400 more on FD. He has allowed only 5 ERs in his last seven appearances, with a stellar 57 Ks in these 45 IP. The D'Backs have few weaknesses in their lineup against RHPs, so this will not be a walk in the park, but if Skubal is merely mediocre, Schlittler could make a run for the mantle of top scoring pitcher tonight.

COL vs RHP Bryce Miller · 5.3 runs

The M's will be popular tonight against some combination of LHP Jose Quintana and RHP Ryan Feltner, however it is the Rockies that have my attention. This is far from a sneaky spot, but Miller has had a rough go over the last month, giving up 24 runs in 28.1 IP across half a dozen appearances. He does have 27 Ks in this stretch, but the 19 BBs and 7 HRs have been his undoing. Opposite-handed batsmen have given Miller fits, so that is the first priority, with honorable mention to Connor Norby and Ezequiel Tovar.

SDP vs RHP Eury Perez · 4.2 runs

Perez is getting his share of strikeouts, but he has been very hittable over his last four starts, ceding a whopping 21 runs in 16.2 IP with a dreadful 12 BBs and 11 XBHs. The top-6 Friars have been very productive against right-handed hurlers during the last month, though the bottom-third of the lineup card is populated with a rally killing trio. This is a fine secondary-stack, with options across a variety of positions and salary levels.

NYY at RHP Brandon Pfaadt · 4.1 runs

Sadly Aaron Judge (calf) has landed back on the IL, but that does lower the overall cost of a Yankees stack. Lefties have really gotten to Pfaadt over the last five starts and it looks like he is finally seeing regression after being one of the luckier pitchers this season, posting a 3.11 ERA over his first 92.2 IP, despite a tick shy of 6 K/9. Arizona has only one southpaw in the bullpen, which reduces the pinch-hit risk for Luis Garcia, though manager Torey Lovullo could always elect to get creative in a tight game as there are still slight playoff hopes.
