The Cubs are still looking to clinch a Wild Card slot, though the top-3 teams in those standings have a 4-5 game lead over Arizona as the last team awaiting elimination. If Imanaga struggles, he could have a shortened outing, though he has had only one mound meltdown (5+ runs) in his last 17 appearances. The Marlins have been plucky this season, though they are likely to run out five high-strikeout candidates against Imanaga, who has improved his K-rate from 20.8% last year to 24.0% this season and collecting nearly one strikeout per inning.

Logan Gilbert vs HOU · 3.5 runs

Seattle is all but eliminated from the postseason, though they can play spoiler with a strong series against the Astros. Gilbert has been steady down the stretch, even racking up 10 Ks across 4.2 frames in Sutter Health Park when the ball was jumping, resulting in a career-worst four home runs. Aside from Yordan Alvarez, Houston lacks any tough lefties as Dalton Varsho has been a disappointment and Taylor Trammell is a fringe talent.

Taj Bradley at SFG · 3.7 runs

This is a lofty salary and both teams have disappointed this season, though a strong finish by Bradley against the injury decimated Giants. It is likely Bradley's last start, with the Twins stopper already at a career-high 30 for the season with 172.1 IP.

Cristian Javier @SEA and Anthony Kay @KC are DK SP2 salary savers, with gamers looking to work in hitters from the Coors Field Extravaganza and Sutter Health Park matchups. Drew Rasmussen and Max Fried are other bucks-deluxe plays on DK.

After two appearances across 6 IP without a walk, Williamson has "lowered" his rate to 5.56 BB/9. He had been a starter, before landing in the bullpen earlier this month. He should be good for 3-4 innings, before giving way to the shorter relievers as there has not been a "bulk" announced. Look to Matt Olson, Ronald Acuna Jr., Michael Harris II and Ozzie Albies as the core four. Some regulars could see rest this week with Atlanta having clinched the NL East.

CHW at LHP Daniel Lynch IV · 4.2 runs

Lynch performs well against fellow lefties, though Munetaka Murakami has crushed same-handed hurlers, so he is still a viable stacking component. Miguel Vargas, Randal Grichuk, Chase Meidroth and recent waiver claimee Tommy Pham, who is the discount dandy du jour on DK ($2.5k) and FD ($2.3k). Staying healthy has been a challenge for Lynch who was a one-time top prospect, though that was half a decade ago and he turns 30 just before Thanksgiving.

CIN at JR Ritchie · 4.2 runs

Expect Ritchie and the low-end bullpen arms to eat some innings today and the rest of the starters to be in maintenance mode as preparations for the postseason are underway. Carlos Jorge is getting a look before likely breaking camp with the Reds next spring and he is another punt option if he is leading off. Elly De La Cruz, Sal Stewart, Eugenio Suarez, JJ Bleday and catcher Tyler Stephenson are fine to flesh out mini-stacks.
