MLB DFS Top Stacks & Top Pitchers: September 26, 2026
September 26, 2026

EMac's top stack today: TEX at RHP Bailey Ober, 4.3 implied runs. Must win for the Rangers, likely afternoon rain that clears for a "safe" evening window, though temps will be in the mid-50s.
EARLY Pitchers 9/26 ⚾️ 🏖️
| Opponent total | Matchup | |
|---|---|---|
| Blake Snell | 2.9 runs | at SFG |
| Bailey Ober | 4.4 runs | vs TEX |
| Nathan Eovaldi | 4.0 runs | at MIN |
| Matt Wilkinson | 5.1 runs | vs LAD |
| Rhett Lowder | 4.7 runs | at TOR |
| Trey Yesavage | 3.7 runs | vs CIN |
| Brent Suter | 4.1 runs | at MIA |
| Jack Ralston | 4.7 runs | vs ATL |
Blake Snell at SFG · 2.9 runs
Last start was cut short with groin tightness after 19 pitches 10 days ago. Best guess is 40-50 pitches in a maintenance start with a cap of 5 IP even if he is efficient, unless we hear otherwise. That is still in play against the other afternoon options.
Bailey Ober vs TEX · 4.4 runs
Twins looking to play spoiler, there are weather concerns, but things clear out for a clean evening window. Normally we would attack, but we need raw pitching points and 12 DKFP is in play.
Nathan Eovaldi at MIN · 4.0 runs
Has been working out of the bullpen, this is MUST WIN and 30-50 pitches is on the table.
Matt Wilkinson vs LAD · 5.1 runs
60-80pc for the middling prospect, hopefully against some reserves after LAD used the regulars last night.
Rhett Lowder at TOR · 4.7 runs
In his last four starts, the top-prospect has 13 Ks in 15.1 IP, though the 22 runs and 11 BBs are painful. Negative DKFPs in 3 of last 4 games.
Trey Yesavage vs CIN · 3.7 runs
Arthroscopic knee procedure in early-August, expect 3-4 IP on 50ish pc.
Brent Suter at MIA · 4.1 runs
Opener with 1-2 IP before potential bulk Eliesier Hernandez in the "Remember Me?!" spot for 40-50pc.
Jack Ralston vs ATL · 4.7 runs
Opener 1-2 IP before Bradley Blalock (30-50pc).
Quick summary for those of you chasing potential overlay and of course my fellow sickos.
Top Stacks 9/26 ⚾️🎇
TEX at RHP Bailey Ober · 4.3 runs
Must win for the Rangers, likely afternoon rain that clears for a "safe" evening window, though temps will be in the mid-50s. Good direct leverage against Ober entries. LHBs in the top-six are strong, along with Wyatt Langford and Ezequiel Duran. Josh Jung (HBP) is likely out.
MIA vs ATL Bullpen · 4.3 runs
Expect a L/R combo covering the first four frames, though Otto Lopez, Heriberto Hernandez, Jakob Marsee, Javier Sanoja and Kyle Stowers are capable against pitchers of either-handedness.
MIN vs RHP Nathan Eovaldi · 3.9 runs
Must win for TEX so any pitchers who struggle will be pulled quickly and none of the "good" arms were wasted last night in the 10-2 loss. Focus on the top-six, though rolling with mini-stacks is probably best with the cool weather muting the power upside of the usual suspects.
CIN at RHP Trey Yesavage · 3.7 runs
Half the TOR bullpen is still daisy fresh after Yesavage's likely 3-4 IP as both teams play out the string. Better hitting environment than MIN and less pinch-hit risk than ATL/LAD.
TOR vs RHP Rhett Lowder · 4.4 runs
Lowder will be in play as an SP2 on DK, so there is some leverage in using THE LOWEST SCORING OFFENSE IN THE LEAGUE. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has a career-low 9 HRs with just one at home. YIKES!
LAD and ATL have clinched, so we could see some regulars getting a break. If they do play it straight up to start, then the pinch-hit risk will be elevated with the day after a night game variable.
Pitchers 9/26 ⚾️ 🚀
Kade Anderson vs LAA · 3.5 runs
The top prospect crushed in Coors Sunday, posting seven scoreless frames with just three hits and seven strikeouts. His preceding five appearances had several rocky efforts, including 12 days ago in Anaheim when the Angles got him for five runs in 4.1 IP with 7 hits and 5 Ks. T-Mobile Park is great for pitchers as is the forecast, though he still has to navigate a lineup loaded with opposite-handed batsmen.
Davis Martin vs COL · 3.5 runs
The ChiSox are hoping to crack the Guardians to get the AL Central, but they need Cleveland to lose at least once for the tiebreaker to come into play. Martin has been steady the last two seasons, but he is an innings-eater, who does not get much in the way of strikeouts on his own. There should be four high-strikeout candidates for the Rockies tonight, though if Martin struggles, there is also likely to be a quick call to the bullpen.
Griffin Jax vs PHI · 3.5 runs
The Rays have the top slot, though the Phillies are trying to hold off ARZ for the final NL wild card ticket. That means Jax will be facing all the regulars and considering he is the No.2/3 starter depending on how you grade the rest of the TB rotation after Drew Rasmussen, with Shane McClanahan ruled out of the ALDS already. It would not be a shock for Jax to go only 3-4 IP in a maintenance start.
Ryan Johnson at SEA · 4.0 runs
The park and weather is great for pitchers as is the M's offense, which I will be hate watching tonight.
Top Stacks 9/26 ⚾️🎇
HOU at RHP Jack Perkins · 5.5 runs
Perkins should get some Ks, but the ballpark and a 'Stros team trying to stay ahead of TEX are working against him. We will not be alone in stacking Houston, for these very reasons.
CHW vs Jose Quintana · 5.0 runs
If the ChiSox make noise early, the Rockies can turn to "bulk" options such as RHP Ryan Feltner or Zach Agnos, though they are not exactly world beaters and it would actually benefit the Chicago LHBs. Chase Meidroth will likely be back in a prominent lineup position after a day yesterday versus a righty to get him some much needed rest.
ATH vs RHP Hayden Wesneski · 4.4 runs
Expect the HOU bullpen to be called upon at the first sign of trouble, though they were the problem and not the solution in Friday's loss, keeping TEX hopes alive for the AL West title. Expect the "best" of the A's again as they try to play spoiler in this lost season.
CLE at RHP Michael Wacha · 4.5 runs
Last night was a wild one and the Guardians need to keep winning to secure the AL Central over CHW. Wacha is an innings eater who usually quells the opposition, but the 35yo has allowed 4 HRs in his last two outings, with half a dozen across his last 23.2 IP. Fire up the top-six.
KCR vs RHP Tanner Bibee 4.2: after giving up 18 ER in his last 19.2 IP and a tired CLE bullpen trying to get across the finish line, the Royals are a fun source of options across a variety of positions and salary levels. The team total is not sexy, nor was it last night against the CLE ace in a game that saw the Royals put up nine runs.
