Polymarket Free 50: What Code STOK Unlocks, And The Catch

Deposit $10 on Polymarket through our link with code STOK and you get a $50 trading bonus. That is the whole offer: the $50 is credit to trade with, not cash you withdraw on day one, and it is for new accounts, 18 and over, in a U.S. state where Polymarket is live.

If you already build DFS lineups off Stokastic projections or work a PrizePicks prop card, you have been building the exact skills a prediction market rewards, without calling it that. You look at a player or an outcome, you decide what its real chance of hitting is, and you act when the number in front of you looks off. Polymarket is that instinct with the price written on the front of the card. It runs a welcome offer for new users, and if you decide to sign up, it is worth knowing exactly how the bonus works before you claim it. This guide covers what Polymarket actually is, how the sign-up bonus works, how to claim it step by step with code STOK, and the one idea that makes the whole thing click for a DFS brain: the price is the probability.

What Is Polymarket?

Polymarket is a prediction market. People buy and sell shares in whether something will happen, and the price of a share moves with what the crowd thinks the real chance is. There is no house setting a line and taking the other side. You trade with other users, and the price is set by supply and demand.

Each market resolves to "yes" or "no." A share pays out $1 if you are right and $0 if you are wrong, so the price reads like a probability: a contract trading at $0.65 means the market is pricing that outcome at about a 65% chance. If it happens, every $0.65 share becomes $1, and the difference is your profit. Hold onto that $0.65 number, because it comes back later when we get to what the bonus is actually for.

Markets cover sports outcomes and other real-world events, all priced by real money on both sides. Because no house is baking in a margin, that pricing is one of the platform's biggest draws, and that is exactly why it fits a Stokastic reader.

The one-line version: a Polymarket price is a probability with a dollar sign on it. If you can read a Stokastic projection against a number and know when yours is better, you already have the only skill that matters here.

Why This Fits The Way You Already Play

Think about how I use the Stokastic Sims or the Stokastic Prop Tools on a normal slate. I am not guessing. I pull up a prop, the tool surfaces a projection I trust, and I compare that number against the one someone else set, then pounce when mine is better. It is the same read that powers player props for DFS players and every mispriced number a DFS player hunts on a slate. A prediction market is that same hunt, minus the middleman:

• Prices Set By Traders, Not A House. Nobody at Polymarket sets the price and takes the other side of your trade. What you see is where buyers and sellers are meeting on that outcome, so the number reads like the crowd's probability rather than a bookmaker's line.
• Higher Payouts. Because the price is not set by a house, Polymarket says payouts run around 10% more than a traditional sportsbook would pay on the same outcome.
• Buy Low, Sell High. You can cash out of a position any time. You are never stuck holding a position until the market resolves, so a read that goes stale does not have to ride all the way to the bell.
• You Won't Get Limited. Polymarket's pitch is that you won't be restricted or capped for winning too much, the way you can be on some traditional platforms.
• But Not Every Gap Is A Trade. I do not fire on every projection-versus-price gap. First I ask whether the market is liquid enough to get in and out, whether my number already accounts for late news, and whether the edge survives the spread. That discipline is the same one that separates a good slate from a blown bankroll.

The projection you would test against a market is the same raw material you already pull from the MLB DFS projections, ownership and stacks in the DataHub, a number you trust, ready to hold up against whatever price is in front of you. The starting point is familiar: you compare your projection to the market price, then decide whether the gap is worth the risk. Before we get to the number that matters most on day one (the bonus), let me put actual dollars on the idea, because that is where it clicks.

A Worked Example: When You Think The Price Is Wrong

Say a market asks whether a given NFL team wins its game outright, and it is trading at $0.45. That price is the crowd saying the team has about a 45% chance. Now I do the exact thing I do on a slate: I build my own read. If my projection, the kind I sharpen the way we lay out in our NFL DFS strategy guide, pegs that team closer to 55%, then a share the market is selling for $0.45 is worth about $0.55 to me. That gap is the whole game.

Ten cents a share sounds like nothing until you scale it. Put $45 in at $0.45 a share (that is 100 shares), and if the outcome hits, each share settles at $1.00 and the position returns $100. If it misses, those same shares settle at $0 and the position loses the full $45. The downside is always the other half of the read. That is the row I keep coming back to: the edge is never the payout, it is the gap between what I think and what the market thinks. And because you can sell before a market resolves, I do not have to wait for the final whistle to act on it. If that price climbs to $0.60 by halftime, I can choose to close the position and take the move rather than ride it to resolution — a flexibility that trades away some of the remaining edge for certainty, the same buy-low, sell-high call a fixed DFS slate never lets you make.

The worked example is where the long-term edge lives. But on day one, there is a more immediate number to know: the bonus.

The Polymarket Sign-Up Bonus: Deposit $10, Get $50

Here is the current new-user offer at a glance, re-checked September 13, 2026.

The row worth staring at is the last one. A $50 trading bonus is not $50 you can withdraw the second it lands. It is $50 of ammunition to take positions with, and the gains from those positions are what become yours. Treat it as a head start to learn the platform, released once you have made the $10 deposit and your qualifying trade. Always read the current terms on Polymarket, because welcome offers and their requirements get updated.

Is The Polymarket Free $50 Actually Free?

Free to claim, yes: the only money you put in is the $10 deposit, and that $10 stays yours. Free as in cash, no. The $50 arrives as trading credit that is not withdrawable on its own. You use it to buy positions, and whatever those positions pay out is real money you can withdraw. So the honest way to read "polymarket free 50" is a $50 stake the platform hands you to trade with, worth exactly what you turn it into. Nobody should deposit expecting $50 to show up in a bank account.

How To Claim The Polymarket Sign-Up Bonus, Step By Step

Setting up an account is a quick, mobile-first flow. Open the link and follow the app steps; identity verification can take a little longer depending on your account.

1. Tap our Polymarket sign-up link. Open polymarket-app.onelink.me/S8ac/STOK. It carries our STOK offer and routes you to the Polymarket US app.
2. Create your account and verify your identity. Polymarket is a CFTC-regulated US platform, so expect real verification: full name, date of birth, address, Social Security number, a government ID, and a quick selfie. It also confirms your location.
3. Make sure code STOK is applied. Signing up through our link should attach it automatically; if you see a promo code field, enter STOK. This is the step that turns the welcome bonus on, so do not skip it.
4. Make your first deposit of at least $10. Polymarket lists no deposit fees, and you can fund the account with its supported payment methods.
5. Make a qualifying trade. Take a position in any eligible market with real money. Completing that first trade is what releases the $50 trading bonus to your account.

That is it. Once the bonus posts, you are trading like any other user.

Is Polymarket Legal In The US?

Short version: the US Polymarket app operates under CFTC regulation, which is what lets it offer real-money markets to Americans. The US platform launched in December 2025 with CFTC approval and removed its sign-up waitlist in May 2026.

State rules still apply on top of federal approval, and availability is not the same in every state. Polymarket is not live everywhere, and where it operates can change over time, so confirm Polymarket is available where you live and that you meet the age requirement before you sign up. None of this is legal advice, just a nudge to check your own state rather than assume.

Trade responsibly. The welcome bonus is a way to learn the platform, but only ever put up money you can afford to lose, and never chase a loss with a bigger position. If it stops being fun, step away.

How Prediction Market Prices Work

Remember that $0.65 share from earlier. Because it pays $1 if the outcome hits, its price is just the market's estimate of the probability: $0.65 in, $1 out, a 35-cent edge if you are right. A contract at $0.40 implies about a 40% chance, and so on down the board. The skill is the exact skill you already run on a projection: spotting outcomes you think are worth more than the price the market is showing, taking a position, and letting the result play out.

That is what the $50 is really for. Not a jackpot, but a one-time head start to run your projection-versus-price instinct in a new arena, with a $50 trading bonus waiting once you clear the $10 deposit and a qualifying trade. What you do with it from there comes down to reading the price and managing your positions, the same edges you already chase every slate.
