CFB DFS Picks: Week 13 Saturday CFB Picks

Quarterback

Cameron Rising, Utah ($8,800)

Rising is in a great spot against Colorado, and there’s a ton to like about him on Saturday at $8,800. He is averaging 24.7 DraftKings points per game for the season and matched up with a Buffaloes defense that ranks 314th in the country against opposing quarterbacks, Rising couldn’t ask to be in a better spot. With Utah currently a 29.5-point favorite in Boulder, the Utes offense should have no problem moving the ball against an underachieving Colorado defense, and at $8,800, Rising looks like a building block in all formats.

Todd Centeio, James Madison ($5,800)

Arguably the top value play on the slate, Centeio looks fantastic in both cash games and GPP’s at $5,800. James Madison has not been on many main slates this season, but Centeio has been phenomenal for the Dukes, averaging 28.9 DraftKings points per game. Coming into Saturday, Senteio has thrown for 2,410 yards and 21 touchdowns while throwing only five interceptions. With James Madison ineligible for postseason play during its transition to the FBS, this is their de facto Super Bowl, and the Dukes should be at their best in a get-up spot at home against Coastal Carolina. At $5,800, Centeio looks like an elite dollar-for-dollar play, and his upside is massive at this price point.

Other Quarterbacks: Bryce Young, Alabama ($9,300); Max Duggan, TCU ($8,100); Spencer Sanders, Oklahoma State ($7,900)

Running Backs

Mohamed Ibrahim, Minnesota ($7,400)

Stokastic’s top projected running back on the slate, Ibrahim is hard to get away from at $7,400. He is averaging 30.6 DraftKings points per game, and he’s been especially lethal recently, putting up 36 or more DraftKings points in three out of the past four games. Matched up with a Wisconsin defense that ranks 189th in the country against opposing running backs, Ibrahim is way too cheap at $7,400.

Damien Martinez, Oregon State ($5,200)

Right there with Centeio as the top value plays on the slate, Martinez is coming off a monster game last week against Arizona State, and there’s a ton to like about him on Saturday against rival Oregon. He had 28.8 DraftKings points while rushing for 138 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries last week against the Sun Devils, and Martinez will look for a similar outcome against an Oregon defense that currently ranks 235th in the country against opposing running backs. He’s a true throwback running back, and his bruising style is a pleasure to watch. He is way too cheap at $5,200, and Martinez fits any type of roster construction.

Other Running Backs: Jahmyr Gibbs, Alabama ($8,400); Will Shipley, Clemson ($6,700); Bucky Irving, Oregon ($5,900); Larry McCammon III, Florida Atlantic ($4,800)

Wide Receivers

Charlie Jones, Purdue ($7,500)

The highest projected wideout on the slate, Jones looks great in all formats at $7,500. A staple in the article for much of the season, Jones has 93 catches for 1,056 yards and 11 touchdowns. Jones is currently averaging a robust 25.6 DraftKings points per game, and he’s been the top option in Purdue’s offense all season. One of the best floor/ceiling combinations for any receiver in the country, Dell is the clear top target for quarterback Aidan O’Connell, and he’s a true fade at your own risk type if you aren’t playing him.

Kris Thornton, James Madison ($6,200)

Another one of the top value plays for CFB DFS picks on the board, pairing Thornton with Centeio makes a lot of sense at $6,200. Projected to be the fourth-highest scoring wide receiver on the slate, Thornton finds himself in a great spot against Coastal Carolina, and at this price point there’s a ton to like about him. One of the most consistent receivers in college football, Thornton is averaging 20.7 DraftKings points per game, and he should have a ton of success on Saturday matched up with a Chanticleers defense that ranks 247th in the country against opposing wideouts. Quarterback Todd Centeio’s clear top target, Thornton is very cheap at $6,200 and he’s a great look in both cash games and GPP’s.

Other Wide Receivers: Marvin Harrison Jr., Ohio State ($8,200); Malachi Corley, Western Kentucky ($7,300); Dalton Kincaid, Utah ($6,600); Antwan Wells Jr., South Carolina ($5,100); Terrance Green Jr., James Madison ($3,800)
