CFB Week 7 DFS Picks: Jahmyr Gibbs & Spencer Sanders Among Top Targets for Week 7 (October 15 )

Week 7 is here, and the schedule continues to pick up with good games scattered throughout the slate. There are 13 games kicking off between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. ET with some good matchups all over the board.

There’s a lot of conference matchups this week with undefeated Oklahoma State traveling to TCU to take on the undefeated Horned Frogs, Iowa State heading to Texas for a matchup with the suddenly resurgent Longhorns, Michigan hosting Penn State in a game with huge ramifications in the Big Ten and 5-0 Tennessee hosting 6-0 Alabama, amongst plenty of others. The only non-conference game is no slouch itself as Arkansas travels to BYU to battle the Cougars.

With so many games in play and less teams playing against inferior competition, there are plenty of strong CBB DFS picks at all positions. This article will provide NCAAF DFS picks and lineup advice for the DraftKings slate on Oct. 15 that locks at 12 p.m. ET.

College Football DFS: Week 7 Saturday CFB Picks

Quarterback

Spencer Sanders, Oklahoma State ($8,000)

Projected as the top quarterback on the slate, Sanders has been a staple in this article all season, and there’s no reason to get away from him on Saturday at $8,000. As the old saying goes, ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’, and the mantra applies here, as Sanders has consistently been one of the top signal-callers in College Football. Averaging 33.4 DraftKings points per game, Sanders hasn’t dropped below 23 points in any contest this season and with 50-point upside (see Week 1), he’s got one of the best floor/ceiling combinations of any player in the country. While TCU’s offense can move the ball and put up points, their defense often allows the opposing offense to do the same, and Sanders looks like one of the top plays yet again on the entire slate.

KJ Jefferson, Arkansas ($6,400)

There’s a lot to like about Max Duggan and a couple of other quarterbacks on Saturday, but Jefferson gets the nod at a far too cheap $6,400 price tag. Averaging 27.4 DraftKings points per game, Jefferson has been phenomenal for the Razorbacks this season and while he wasn’t great his last time out against Alabama, there’s no reason he should be so cheap in a much better spot against BYU. Right behind Duggan and Sanders as the third highest projected quarterback on the slate, Jefferson was cleared early in the week to have a full, normal week of practice, and after missing last week’s loss to Mississippi State, expect to see the best he has to offer as the Hogs look to get back on track.

Other Quarterbacks: Max Duggan, TCU ($8,000); Jason Bean, Kansas ($7,500); Taulia Tagovailoa, Maryland ($6,900); Jaxson Dart, Mississippi ($6,700); Kurtis Rourke, Ohio ($6,200); Robby Ashford, Auburn ($5,200)

Running Backs

Jahmyr Gibbs, Alabama ($7,900)

Our top projected player for the entire slate, Gibbs has arguably been Alabama’s best most consistent offensive player this season, and expect Nick Saban to lean on him again this week as the undefeated Crimson Tide travels to Tennessee for a matchup with the also undefeated Volunteers. Averaging 22.2 DraftKings points per game, the Georgia Tech transfer has been one of the most dynamic running backs in college football, and he’s in top form right now with 62.3 points over the past two games. There are plenty of good running backs to choose from on Saturday, but Gibbs stands out at $7,900, and he looks like a cog in the machine type in all formats.

Sean Tucker, Syracuse ($7,300)

Quickly making a name for himself as one of the top running backs in the country, Tucker has been a beast for Syracuse this season. Dino Babers and company will need another strong performance from him on Saturday as the undefeated Orange plays host to North Carolina State. Averaging 27.2 DraftKings points per game, Tucker already has three games this season with at least 25 points, and he looks like one of the strongest plays on the slate at his $7.3K price tag. Coming off a monster game against Wagner in Week 5 in which he ran for 232 yards and three touchdowns on 23 carries, Tucker is also in great form right now and at this price point, he works in any type of build.

Other Running Backs: Bijan Robinson, Texas ($9,200); Braelon Allen, Wisconsin ($8,200); Chase Brown, Illinois ($7,200); Raheim Sanders, Arkansas ($6,500); Kendre Miller, TCU ($6,200); Roman Hemby, Maryland ($5,800); Sieh Bangura, Ohio ($5,500); Henry Parrish Jr., Miami (FL) ($4,800)

Wide Receivers

Cam Camper, Indiana ($5,800)

Averaging 18.3 DraftKings points per game, Camper has consistently been one of the more underrated wide receivers in college football this season, and there’s a ton to like about him this week against Maryland. While he wasn’t great last week against Michigan, Camper has at least 23 DraftKings points in three of Indiana’s first five games, and matched up with a weak Terrapins secondary, he’s in a great spot to make it four out of six. Way too cheap at $5,800, Camper looks like one of the best value plays on the entire board on Saturday, and projected to be the second highest scoring wide receiver on the slate, he’s close to a lock in all formats.

Sam Wiglusz, Ohio ($5,000)

Perhaps an even better value play than Camper, Wiglusz is even cheaper than the Indiana wideout, and he looks like the ultimate cog in our machine in all formats at $5,000. Averaging 19.1 DraftKings points per game, Wiglusz has been especially good recently, putting up a combined 62.9 points over the past two games. A target monster for quarterback Kurtis Rourke, Wiglusz finds himself in another really good spot in Western Michigan against the Broncos, and at this price point he’s almost impossible to get away from.

Other Wide Receivers: Xavier Hutchinson, Iowa State ($8,300); Quentin Johnson, TCU ($6,700); Corey Crooms, Western Michigan ($6,600); Jonathan Mingo, Mississippi ($6,100); Xavier Worthy, Texas ($5,700); Chimere Dike, Wisconsin ($5,600); Gunner Romney, BYU ($5,500); Puka Nacua, BYU ($4,600); Kaleb Smith, Virginia Tech ($4,000); Brashard Smith, Miami (FL) ($3,000)
