College Football DFS Picks: Jahmyr Gibbs and Blake Corum Lead the Way

Saturday’s college football fun doesn’t stop with the main slate, and the college football gods have blessed us with a nine-game prime time slate that starts at 7:00 p.m. ET. To crack tonight’s College Football DFS slate, a lineup consisting of Jahmyr Gibbs and Blake Corum as building blocks, should help to establish a nice floor.

Bryce Young and Alabama head to Baton Rouge for a battle with LSU. Kansas State hosts Texas in a game with massive Big 12 implications. BYU travels to Boise State for a matchup with the Broncos. Mississippi State hosts Robby Ashford and Auburn. Utah hosts Arizona in a game that should feature a ton of points. Clemson heads to South Bend for a matchup with Michael Mayers and Notre Dame. Miami hosts Florida State in a classic sunshine state rivalry game. Michigan heads to Rutgers in what should be a one-sided affair. Last, but certainly not least, Sam Hartman and Wake Forest head to NC State looking to get back on track after last week’s loss to Louisville.

With nine games in play and a few teams still playing against inferior competition, there are plenty of strong CBB DFS picks at all positions and some potentially lopsided scores across the board. This article will provide NCAAF DFS picks and lineup advice for the DraftKings slate on November 5 that locks at 7:00 p.m. ET. Let’s dive into our College Football DFS picks.

College Football DFS Picks: Week 10 Saturday Night

Quarterback

Robby Ashford, North Carolina ($5,100) — Arguably the top value play for any slate on Saturday, Ashford looks great in all formats at $5,200. Averaging 15.7 DraftKings points per game, Ashford started out the season very slowly, putting up more than 15 DraftKings points only once in Auburn’s first four games. In the four games since, however, Ashford is averaging 20.6 DraftKings points per game, and he’s in another good spot on Saturday night against a Mississippi State defense that ranks 109th in the country against opposing quarterbacks. Our second-highest projected signal-caller on the slate, Ashford is way too cheap at $5.2k, and he’s a cog in our machine in all formats.

Other Quarterbacks: Cameron Rising, Utah ($9,100); Bryce Young, Alabama ($9,000); Sam Hartman, Wake Forest ($8,800); Adrian Martinez, Kansas State ($8,100); Jayden de Laura, Arizona ($7,700)

Running Backs

Jahmyr Gibbs, Alabama ($8,300) — One of the premier running backs in college football, Jahmyr Gibbs looks like an elite play in all formats on Saturday night at $8,300. Our highest projected running back on the slate, Gibbs has been fantastic in his first season in Tuscaloosa, rushing for 672 yards and nine touchdowns on 101 carries. Averaging 23.9 DraftKings points per game, the Georgia Tech transfer finds himself in a really good spot matched up with a LSU defense that ranks 211th in the country against opposing running backs. With Alabama’s team total hovering around 35.5 points, expect the Crimson Tide to feed Jahmyr Gibbs early and often as they look to get out of Baton Rouge with a win.

Blake Corum, Michigan ($7,700) — Projected behind only Gibbs as the second-highest scoring running back on the slate, Blake Corum is hard to get away from in any format at $7,700. Averaging 28.1 DraftKings points per game, Corum has been on fire recently, rushing for 343 yards and three touchdowns on 61 carries just over the past two weeks alone. 70 DraftKings points over this current two-game stretch, Corum is carrying the Wolverines offense right now and there’s no reason expect anything different in a matchup with Rutgers. Spending down on Ashford at quarterback makes it easy to afford both Gibbs and Blake Corum, and price considered, they are the top two options in all formats. Let’s turn ahead to some of our college football DFS receivers.

Other Running Backs: Bijan Robinson, Texas ($8,900); Deuce Vaughn, Kansas State ($7,100); Will Shipley, Clemson ($6,800); Tank Bigsby, Auburn ($5,100)

Wide Receivers

Jacob Cowing, Arizona ($8,000) — The wide receiver position is pretty weak on this slate, and Cowing looks like the top option in all formats at $8,000. 60 catches for 817 yards and seven touchdowns through Arizona’s first eight games, Cowing has been phenomenal in his first year in Tucson, and he’s in another great spot on Saturday night matched up with a Utah defense that ranks 311th in the country against opposing wide receivers. One of the best floor/ceiling combinations in all of college football, Cowing is a great option in both cash games and tournaments.

Puka Nacua, BYU ($6,300) — Right there with Ashford as the top value play on the slate, Nacua is almost impossible to get away from at $6,300. Averaging 21.1 DraftKings points per game for the season, Nacua has been red hot recently, bumping that average up to 32 DraftKings points per game over the past three contests. Our highest projected wideout for any slate on Saturday, Nacua is in a really good spot against an average Boise State secondary, and his current rapport with quarterback Jaren Hall makes him a ‘true fade at your own risk’ type if you aren’t playing him.

Other Wide Receivers: A.T. Perry, Wake Forest ($7,300); Dorian Singer, Arizona ($6,800); Michael Mayer, Notre Dame ($6,500); Xavier Worthy, Texas ($6,400); Tetairoa McMillan, Arizona ($5,500); Kayshon Boutte, LSU ($5,100); Ja’Varrius Johnson, Auburn ($4,700); Ja’Tavion Sanders, Texas ($3,600
