Here are some of the best lines for Week 7 CFB player props.
Week 7 PrizePicks CFB Props | Saturday, Oct. 16
Kenny Pickett — Under 344.5 Yards Passing
Pickett has had a great season, but Virginia Tech’s pass defense is by far the best he has played since Week 2. Virginia Tech has not allowed a passer to go for over 230 yards this year and held Sam Howell to 208 yards in Week 1. Last year Pickett may have thrown for 400 yards against them, but the defense gave up 266 yards through the air on average, and this year that averages is down to 196.
Jason Bean — Over 175.5 Yards Passing
Bean has been up and down this year, but the Baylor and Iowa State performances say more about their defenses than him. This passing line is set at a minimum, and Kansas should throw most of this game given they are 17-point underdogs. Texas Tech’s defense this year has given up 240 passing yards on average and a 67% completion percentage. Bean will not throw for over 250, but he should comfortably sit at the 220 mark.
Isaiah Spiller — Over 99.5 Yards Rushing
Missouri is the worst run defense in college football by a mile, and this line is too small for a talent like Spiller. Spiller has hit the 100-yard rushing mark on three occasions this year and has done so on fewer than 20 attempts each time. On the road, being only 8.5-point favorites, Spiller should get close to the 20-carry mark and break multiple big runs. Missouri is giving up 6.1 yards per carrying this year, so on 18 attempts Spiller should be able to get there just off averages.
Xavier Worthy– Over 4.5 Receptions
With Jordan Whittington getting hurt, Worthy has emerged as the No. 1 wide receiver for the Texas offense and will be heavily involved in the passing game going forward. Oklahoma State will have all their attention on Bijan Robinson and have been one of the top defenses in the country against the run. For Texas to win this game, they will need some of their passing options to win in coverage to open things for Robinson, and Worthy has not had less than a 26% target share in any of Casey Thompson’s full starts.
SaRodorick Thompson — Over 16.5 Fantasy Score
In the last four games, Kansas has given up 18 touchdowns rushing, and Thompson put together a three-touchdown performance in a 52-31 loss to TCU last week. Texas Tech is a 17-point favorite on the road, and the Kansas run defense is also giving up 5.9 yards on the ground. The rushing line would be a better bet if Thompson had more volume, but they have yet to commit 20 touches to him. Thanks for reading to the end of this article!
