The biggest disappointment of LCK 2023 so far, HLE simply haven’t met preseason expectations. HLE has a lot of tools and should be capable of beating GEN. But given their recent form, it’s likelier that they’ll falter against a better GEN squad, and players like Zeka should end up as low-owned LoL DFS assets.

It’s rarely a bad idea to bet on talent, and even though HLE can put the pieces together, GEN has the more appealing roster from top to bottom. GEN showed no mercy against BRO last time out, and with GEN carrying a massive advantage in the jungle position, Peanut is someone that could outperform his LoL DFS projection should GEN come out on top.
KWANGDONG FREECS
Both KDF and DRX sit at 0-3 in the LCK. If you asked most people who would come out victorious before the season started, they would say DRX. But neither team has looked great, so KDF has a shot. KDF has flashed high-level play, as is expected of a young roster, but putting it all together has proven difficult. If they can pull off the upset against a shaky DRX squad, Youngjae could be a big reason why.
DRX
Even though both teams are 0-3, DRX does have an advantage in both talent and experience. Seeing them as the biggest favorite on Sunday’s LoL DFS slate could cause some sticker shock and keep their ownership a bit down. It won’t be easy for DRX to solve their problems, but the matchup against KDF provides them with a great chance to bounce back. Deokdam carries high LoL DFS viability tonight.
Best LoL DFS Pick:
ADC-Deokdam. Having Beryl as your support can make laning a challenge, and even though deokdam only has a 21.6% damage share, that number should tick up a bit and bring a higher kill participation in the series that DRX wins.
Best Contrarian LoL DFS Pick:
ADC-Viper. Few expected Viper to look as awkward as he has in his LCK return, but he finds himself up against a young talent in Peyz tonight. If Viper can find his form, it could be a long night for the young ADC.
