One last week of LPL regular season kicks off with two potential one sided affairs, although the closing series offers some intrigue, with everything getting analyzed below.
LPL SERIES
Victory Five (V5) vs. ThunderTalk Gaming (TT)
Bilibili Gaming (BLG) vs. Ultra Prime (UP)
LoL DFS Picks: DraftKings LPL Slate Breakdown
VICTORY FIVE
Following a rare LPL postponement, V5 finds themselves ready to take on the bottom of the table TT. V5 are clear favorites in this spot, and with seeding still to play for, effort shouldn’t be an issue. As LPL leaders in kills per game, V5 offers plenty of LoL DFS potential tonight, with kill participation leader Rookie in a good position against Ucal.
THUNDERTALK GAMING
Playoffs are out of the question for TT, and while playoff aspirations in summer may be a pipe dream, overall their level of play with the additions of Ucal and Chieftain has been higher. TT offers little in the LoL DFS realm, and should only be considered when entering mass amounts of lineups tonight as they will be low owned.
BILIBILI GAMING
Closing out the LPL only LoL DFS slate is the closer of the two series as BLG takes on UP. BLG were competent challengers in their last series, a 1-2 loss to EDG, and with playoffs not secured, this is a series they need. FoFo is a talented player, however he’s been lost in the picture most of this split, and an improved performance here could be key for BLG tonight.
ULTRA PRIME
Summer split is the new frontier for UP, as they’re not not able to make playoffs in the LPL spring split. UP still remains the more enticing LoL DFS underdog tonight as BLG is in a bit of a rough patch, and UP is still close enough talent wise to pull the upset. Bot lane is a big interest tonight, as Elk takes on Uzi, and if Elk finds success, UP’s chances will improve.
Favorite LoL DFS pick on the slate:
MID-Rookie. Easily the best MID laner on the slate, Rookie offers both a great floor, and high ceiling on this LoL DFS slate.
Favorite contrarian LoL DFS pick on the slate:
JNG-H4cker. When H4cker is making positive movements around the map, UP tends to be a better team, and of their 14 game wins, he’s got seven 10+ assist games, with two more nine assist games making him an interesting option if UP wins.
