League of Legends DFS: LoL DraftKings Picks & LPL + LCK Slate Breakdown | Sunday 7/24

The best League of Legends LPL 2022 LoL DFS picks tonight, with expert DraftKings fantasy projections & LoL starting lineups today.

Two big favorites are sandwiched between two potentially more difficult LCK and LPL series, both of which could be potential deciders for LoL DFS.

LoL DFS Picks: DraftKings LPL + LCK  Slate Breakdown

Perhaps KDF are the kryptonite for T1, as even though the series ended in a 1-2 loss, KDF were more than threatening in each of the losses, while being ahead in game three. KDF playing at that level makes them a potentially exciting, under owned LoL DFS play, however KDF hasn’t consistently demonstrated that level of play this year, so treading with caution is advised.

Coming off a more contested 0-2 loss to GEN, LSB find themselves in a more palatable place for LoL DFS tonight against KDF, even if it’s still potentially a tricky spot. In their first meeting, which took place week one, LSB took down KDF in a comfortable 2-0 fashion, putting up 31 kills in the process, and if they replicate that performance, Croco could be a solid LoL DFS option.

Being one of the three LPL teams to be locked into the playoffs already is a great reward for a talented TES squad, and with the top two being incredibly advantageous, they’ll be playing hard the entire split. TES is the clear a-side of this series, and with exciting projections all around, Knight and his team leading 78% kill participation (KP), make for a great option in what should be a comfortable 2-0.

With 10 teams making the LPL playoffs, UP are technically still in the mix, only a couple series behind, although it’s going to be tough with many strong teams to play, including TES tonight. As with most LPL series, there are paths to the upset, and for UP it’s going to take improved performances from Elk, who has been mired in mediocrity for most of this split.

Wrapping up the LCK side of this LoL DFS slate is one of the biggest mismatches remaining in this split as HLE looks to be competitive against GEN. HLE needs a lot to break their way to be relevant tonight, and while they do have new players since their first meeting, little has manifested, making HLE a fringe LoL DFS consideration at best.

Playing one of the most peculiar game ones against LSB last time out, GEN should largely find themselves in a position to choose their own path to victory tonight. GEN has won four straight series 2-0, which are becoming more rare these days, and with them being in another great spot tonight, Ruler projects well as someone that can have a big LoL DFS series in this spot.

Completing the LPL side of things are two teams capable of taking games off of any LPL team as OMG dukes it out against WBG. Coming off a loss to TT last time out, OMG find themselves with a 15-16 game record, while sliding to 9th place, sitting at 5-6 series wise. OMG is a capable, but inconsistent team, but when they’re on they can beat most teams, and shanji versus TheShy can be full of fireworks tonight.

If you’re only chasing safety, WBG is unlikely the team to look for, as when they win, they can be huge LoL DFS scorers, with eight of their 17 wins producing over 20 kills, but when they’re off, they can drop games to the likes of WE and IG. In terms of potential, WBG has plenty to offer most LoL DFS slates, and if they somehow pull out a 2-0, huanfeng could be a steal as the third highest priced ADC on the slate.

Favorite LoL DFS pick on the slate:

MID-Chovy. Offering salary relief over TES players, Chovy is a player in a plus matchup against Karis, while also offering enough upside to justify a still expensive price.

Favorite contrarian LoL DFS pick on the slate:

TOP-Shanji. OMG are more likely to lose this series, however in terms of potentially exciting underdogs on this LoL DFS slate, OMG is at the top, as WBG has four games featuring 20+ deaths, with two others sliding in at 19, and with TheShy capable of being the best in the world one night, and LDL worthy other nights, taking shots on shanji could be fruitful.
