LoL DFS Picks: DraftKings LPL Slate Breakdown
LGD GAMING
Gauging the LPL teams is still quite tricky as most only have one series under their belt, and even though LGD has a weaker roster, they’re still a completely playable team in LoL DFS. In their first series against RA, they managed not only a game one win, but game two was winnable as well, before they dropped it and game three. Against OMG a strong performance by Meteor could make LGD an intriguing low owned play.
OH MY GOD
Even though there’s some buzz around OMG this LPL split, they dropped their first series to RNG, while losing game two with a gold lead at the end. OMG gets a much softer opponent tonight in LGD, and in a potentially crowded LPL mid table, a strong performance from Able will not only help OMG win, but also he’s someone capable of smashing his LoL DFS projection.
RARE ATOM
Beating LGD is something that a lot of teams are likely to do this LPL spring split, and even though there’s been a break, RA needs to take the positives from that shaky win in order to contend with NIP. Leyan and Cube can potentially form a strong top side of the map for RA to play around, and if they find success, both could outperform their projections on this two game slate.
NINJAS IN PAJAMAS
NIP remains one of the more intriguing LPL teams entering this split, and their competent performance against UP sets the table for a good performance here. Bot side can be a point of strength for NIP tonight, however the often aggressive XLB presents a ton of LoL DFS potential tonight, as stymieing Leyan can lead NIP to a solid scoring 2-0 win.
Favorite LoL DFS pick on the slate:
MID-Creme. Still a young talent, Creme is a player for OMG that can takeover games, and he’s presented a great opportunity to do so tonight against LGD given the right draft.
Favorite contrarian LoL DFS pick on the slate:
ADC-Assum. Any success RA has likely won’t stem from the bot side of RA, although it could, however if RA finds themselves ahead early game, Assum is someone that can clean up team fights while putting up excellent LoL DFS scores.
