League of Legends DFS: LoL DraftKings Picks & LPL Slate Breakdown | Monday 7/25

With the first series unlikely to offer much in the way of a surprise, the last LPL series on this LoL DFS slate could be the series players need to get correct tonight.
LoL DFS Picks: DraftKings LPL Slate Breakdown
RARE ATOM
Finding reasons to pull off a big upset against LPL spring split winners RNG is difficult, however they’ve demonstrated flashes, including a game win over JDG, but their 2-8 overall record leaves little to be desired. Sitting near the bottom of the LPL in kills per game, RA rarely make for strong LoL DFS plays, and while iBoy is the furthest thing from trustworthy on this roster, he tends to find a few games, or even a series to flash his skill, while blowing projections out of the water.
ROYAL NEVER GIVE UP
As with a lot of LPL teams, RNG doesn’t have many 2-0 series wins, only capturing two this split, however tonight is a great opportunity to get that number to three after a win against a much more difficult EDG. RNG top to bottom carries massive talent, and the skill gap could be on display tonight, and with Xiaohu being a highly projected option tonight, finding reasons to get to the veteran mid laner is a sound strategy.
FUNPLUS PHOENIX
Two teams scrambling for the last few playoff seeds meet up in the last series of this LPL only LoL DFS slate, with the winner getting a nice boost to their playoff odds. On paper FPX is the more well rounded team, however they have flaws which can be exploited. Any individual member of FPX can be the reason for success on any given night, and while Summit hasn’t been as active kill participation wise, his damage numbers lead the team, while offering a largely consistent player in the top lane.
TT GAMING
Picturing TT in a position to be playoff contenders at the start of the year was a crazy proposition, however roster changes, alongside general team cohesion make them a pesky out most nights. One position TT has an edge tonight is in the jungle position with Beichuan, and a strong early game by him can set TT up in a great spot to pull off the upset, at lower ownership.
Favorite LoL DFS pick on the slate:
ADC-Gala. Yes, iBoy can show flashes of pure brilliance, but significantly more often he’s a player opposing teams can take advantage of, and tonight should be no different.
Favorite contrarian LoL DFS pick on the slate:
JNG-Beichuan. TT is a team that demonstrates that a really strong jungler can enhance the players around him, and if they’re to find the win in this spot, Beichuan is likely a big contributor.
