League of Legends DFS: LoL DraftKings Picks & LPL + LCK Slate Breakdown | Friday 6/24

The LCK offers two sizable favorites, while the LPL features two decently sized favorites that are more likely to get upset. Tonight offers many interesting LoL DFS decisions, and each team is getting a breakdown below.
LoL DFS Picks: DraftKings LPL + LCK Slate Breakdown
HANWHA LIFE ESPORTS
Hopes for HLE after taking game two off of KDF have gone down, as they’ve convincingly lost their last three games to start 0-2 on the season. HLE finds themselves against another capable opponent in DRX tonight, and while DRX is a beatable team, SamD will need to step it up to make the LoL DFS prospects of HLE have a chance.
DRX
It’s been a while since DRX stepped on the rift, taking BRO down 2-0, and tonight sets up well for them to get to a 3-0 series score to kick off their LCK campaign. Checking out ownership on DRX is a good idea tonight, as since they’re the cheapest favorite, while also facing one of the highest death teams in the LCK in HLE, getting to Zeka regardless could be a great idea.
OH MY GOD
Upsetting top teams is a tricky task, but catching a top team that looks shaky makes OMG a team to keep on the radar when building LoL DFS lineups tonight. Fortunately for OMG, they’ve faced three average to great teams already this split, taking games of JDG and RA, so they’ve been able to put it together for one game, yet haven’t been able to close it out, and if they do, shanji could offer OMG a point of strength against a shaky Ale tonight.
LNG ESPORTS
Sometimes records are deceiving, and that’s possibly the case with an LNG squad that while they’re 3-0, probably should’ve lost to TT, and did drop game two. Ridding themselves of these early season cobwebs is key for a talented LNG roster, and another bottom-half team could end up kick-starting them going forward, with Light being one of the higher ceiling plays on this LoL DFS slate.

FREDIT BRION
BRO is a team that is built for LoL DFS, but the big issue is that they just don’t win enough. Most nights BRO will carry very low ownership, and tonight should be no different, yet the temptation to toss in a BRO lineup remains because this team currently averages an absurd three assists per kill, so whenever they put it all together, players like Hena will be a low ownership play waiting to explode.
GEN.G
After winning one of the highest skill series the LCK or LPL will have this split against DK, GEN finds themselves in a theoretically easier spot tonight against BRO. GEN could very well find themselves in the BRO state, where they just largely win by attrition, and annoy LoL DFS players since BRO doesn’t die even though they have no game wins, but the floor is solid, and ignoring Chovy on any slate is a mistake.
JD GAMING
Leading the LPL kills always makes for LoL DFS intrigue, and while UP is an up-and-coming squad, JDG currently stand a tier above them. JDG has passed their first two tests in taking out TES and EDG, both times putting up a victory with 25 kills, and with UP dying 17.6 times in their losses, and in form, Kanavi carries a nice projection heading into this slate.
ULTRA PRIME
Long-term UP is a team to keep an eye on, even with their opening hiccup against RA, as in their next two games they put up 21 and 22 kills to get the reverse sweep. Perhaps this is currently a bridge too far for how UP is currently playing, but seeing them challenge JDG tonight would paint a better picture for their LPL and LoL DFS outlook for the remaining split, and winning naturally makes someone like Cryin worth a look.
Best Pick
JNG-Kanavi. LPL junglers are a different breed, and Kanavi is looking strong to open the season, and even though UP is a capable team, the LoL DFS upside JDG has demonstrated against better teams is too good to ignore.
Best Contrarian Pick
Mid-Creme. Taking down LNG tonight will be tough, but OMG took a game off of JDG, even if the circumstances that caused it were a bit weird, and tonight LNG is bringing LvMao back to the starting lineup as well for the first time this LPL split. Putting together two games still remains possible, and as a low-owned flier, LoL DFS players can do much worse tonight.
