League of Legends DFS: LoL DraftKings Picks & World Championship 2021 Day 4 | Friday 10/8/21

The 2021 League of Legends World Championship elimination series are on the menu tonight, and with two best of five series to look at, LoL DFS keeps rolling on. Using Awesemo’s expert projections, we will break down each matchup and find the top LoL DFS picks for DraftKings on Friday, Oct. 7.
LoL DFS Picks: DraftKings World Championship Day 4
GALATASARAY ESPORTS
After winning their first two games to open Worlds 2021, GS dropped their next two, but of note is the fact that they did beat BYG in their first match. There is a solid chance that this series goes the distance, and GS are firmly capable of winning this series if the wrong BYG shows up. Keep an eye on ownership, as GS are very cheap, while having already defeated BYG in the first meeting, nonetheless Crazy is an intriguing LoL DFS option tonight regardless.
BEYOND ESPORTS
Likely one of the most underwhelming performers of Worlds 2021, BYG squeaked into this spot by defeating only UOL, albeit they did twice. Talentwise BYG is capable of defeating GS, but their performances up to this point have been subpar at best. Doggo is doing nearly 40% of his team’s damage, while also leading the team in kill participation (KP), making him likely necessary should BYG come out on top.
PEACE
Closing out the slate gives us two lower-level teams as PCE takes on RED. PCE did beat RED in their first game, although it was a relatively back and forth affair, making this yet another series fully capable of going the distance. Taking shots on both sides for LoL DFS will be a safe strategy tonight, and in their two victories, Babip has been impactful both times.
RED CANIDS
RED had very little in the way of expectations entering Worlds 2021, but a series win here would give them a shot to eek their way into the main event. Once again the losing team is the more expensive team for LoL DFS purposes here, which could make ownership a key factor in deciding which side to be over the field in what should be a close contest. Grevthar leads RED in KP at Worlds, largely playing more utility-based champions, making him someone to consider from RED tonight.
Favorite Pick
ADC – Doggo. Oftentimes in big series, taking the team with the best player is smart, but with how BYG has played there’s inherent risk. Doggo is the cream of the crop here though, and there’s little reason to believe he will be any problem from BYG.
Favorite Contrarian Pick
MID – Tally. Even though Tally has been put on some high impact champions, the LoL DFS impact has not been as high as one might expect. He is still a solid option tonight though, in what should be an exciting best of five.
