The following Spotlight Stacks & Hitters were selected by Awesemo.com’s Director of Content Josh Engleman.
Indians (#1 DraftKings / #1 FanDuel)
- Francisco Lindor
- Michael Brantley
- Jose Ramirez
- Yonder Alonso
The Indians are the clear #1 option on both sites, with an implied run total being miles away from the second highest team. This lineup is setup perfectly to decimate Luke Giolito and the White Sox. I’m starting at the top of the order, but I‘m working my way through almost all of the lineup. The only guy I’m not on right now is Greg Allen. Yan Gomes looks like an excellent catcher option, and I‘ll still have him quite a bit on FanDuel.
Cubs (#2 DraftKings / #2 FanDuel)
- Kris Bryant
- Jason Hayward
- Ben Zobrist
- Anthony Rizzo
There’s not a total out for this game, so it’s possible this changes through the day, but for now, the Cubs are sitting firmly in my #2 spot. 1-2-3-4 is the clear best option, but there’s good value throughout the order. Willson Contreras looks great, as usual. Kyle Schwarber is always a fun option due to his huge power. I don’t love Javier Baez if he’s hitting 7th, but I’ll still have him in a few lines. Position helps a lot with Baez. Ian Happ’s bargain price on FanDuel makes him look good if you’re trying to differentiate a bit.
Angels (#4 DraftKings / #4 FanDuel)
- Ian Kinsler
- Mike Trout
- Justin Upton
- Albert Pujols
Righties on righties on righties. The Angels are projected to roll out nine right handed batters against Wade LeBlanc and the Mariners. While I won’t have as much widespread exposure here, the top-end is as good as you’ll find on the slate. I think 1-6 (Kinsler, Trout, Upton, Pujols, Cozart, Marte) is the best combo, so I’d recommend focusing attention to those guys.
