So now we will search for these sought-after 2021 fantasy football sleeper picks to help you win your league.
2021 Fantasy Football MUST-DRAFT Sleepers
Marquez Callaway — WR — NO
It appears that Marquez Callaway is the favorite to be WR1 in New Orleans. Without Michael Thomas, there is room for some new wide receivers see targets. Callaway looked the best out of all wide receivers in the first preseason game, recording three receptions on four targets 61 yards. While it is unlikely that Callaway will put up Thomas numbers, it is possible that he can become New Orleans’ No. 1 target. Even with the somewhat dicey quarterback play, finding the top receiver on a team late in drafts is always worth a shot.
Jared Cook — TE — LAC
Things start to get dicey at tight after the top 12. But Jared Cook could go largely undrafted, and he is a fairly safe option at the position. While this will be his first year with the Chargers, Cook has been a relatively consistent fantasy bet the last few seasons with the Saints and Raiders. With the exit of Hunter Henry to the Patriots, the door is wide open for a new tight end. In such a strong offense Cook provides top-eight upside and is being drafted outside of the top 18 tight ends right now, which makes him an appealing 2021 fantasy football sleeper pick.

McKissic — RB — WAS
All offseason there was hope that Antonio Gibson would become the workhorse in Washington. Those dreams appear to be dead, as JD Mckissic was playing a similar role in the preseason game as he did last season. While this does not mean that players cannot draft Gibson, it ups the value of McKissic. McKissic is more than just an average handcuff due to his playing time when Gibson is healthy. He also has a stranglehold over Gibson when it comes to receiving work, as he saw 110 targets last season. It should be simple to expect similar work unless something changes next week in the preseason.
Justin Fields — QB — CHI
While Justin Fields is unlikely to see the starting role until a few weeks into the season, all that does is lower his average draft position. Eventually he will start for the Bears. Once he becomes the starter, on a points-per-game basis he could easily be a top-12 quarterback. He looked good in his preseason debut and much better when compared to Andy Dalton. He has a chance to be one of the best fantasy football sleeper picks in 2021 once he becomes the starter.

While Xavier Jones would likely need an injury to Darrell Henderson Jr to become fantasy relevant, it appears that the No. 2 role is his in Los Angeles. With how efficient the Rams offense should be at with Matthew Stafford, any running back stepping into the starting role could succeed. While he is really just a handcuff, Jones is a worthy one to roster.
