Smith’s Fantasy Production in 2020
Smith was so productive in 2020 that he earned the Heisman Trophy, making him the third ever wide receiver to win the trophy. In his Heisman-winning season Smith had 117 receptions on 147 targets for 1,856 yards and 23 touchdowns, averaging 15.9 yards per reception. Despite Smith’s slight build, he was dominant.
Smith’s Fantasy Outlook in 2021
Smith’s role should be easy to project. The assumption is that he will be Philadelphia’s No. 1 target. Matching his draft capital with the shaky wide receiver room, it should come as no surprise if Smith earns a high target share. Out of all of the rookie receivers, Smith has the clearest path to targets. If Jalen Hurts is serviceable, with the role Smith has he could finish as a top-24 receiver. making him a steal at his ADP.
