UFC Vegas 60 DFS Picks & Value Plays: How to Roster Daniel Zellhuber, Louis Cosce & More (September 17)

UFC Vegas 60 is back at the Apex featuring Cory Sandhagen  vs. Song Yadong in the main event with the co-main featuring Chidi Njokuani vs. Gregory Rodrigues . Below are some MMA DFS picks and analysis with the help of Stokastic’s UFC expert projections. Let’s see what’s on tap for UFC Fight Night and find some of the best UFC DFS pick for DraftKings and FanDuel lineups.

UFC Vegas 60: Sandhagen vs. Yadong UFC DFS Picks

Top-End Pick: Daniel Zellhuber | DraftKings: $9,400 , FanDuel: $22

Zellhuber is making his long-awaited UFC debut. The unbeaten Mexican was steamrolling through the local scene racking up seven knockouts and two submissions, which earned him an audition on the Contender Series. He has fast hands and is extremely technical with outstanding anthropometry. I expect Zellhuber to try and create enough space by using his five-inch reach advantage and striking to keep this fight standing. However, if Trey Ogden can drag Zellhuber to the mat, then I expect Zellhuber finding another submission victory. Zellhuber has 75% win odds according to  Stokastic UFC DFS projections with a 45% chance for a knockout.

Mid-Priced Pick: Javid Basharat | DraftKings: $8,600, FanDuel: $18

Basharat is coming off a successful UFC debut, by defeating Trevin Jones via decision in March. Tony Gravely will be a step up in competition, but I expect Basharat will be up for the challenge and could find the finish by way of submission. Gravely’s wrestling is phenomenal. However, Basharat has the wrestling chops to hang with Gravely if this fight hits the canvas. I expect Basharat to find success on the outside with elite footwork and power strikes to slow down Gravely. The Top Fighters Tool gives Basharat 31.5% of being in the top six on this card, while Stokastic’s UFC DFS projection give him 61% win odds.

Mid-Priced Pick: Chidi Njokuani | DraftKings: $8,000 , FanDuel: $16

Njokuani is a skilled and dangerous Muay Thai kickboxer and will be gunning for a third straight first-round finish. He is a former Bellator standout, with precise striking. Njokuani has an impressive takedown defense, stuffing 76% of attempts and can keep opponents on the outside with his 80-inch reach. I expect Njokuani will use his jab and reach advantage to keep Gregory Rodrigues at bay. He has 54% win odds according to Stokastic’s Stokastic’s UFC DFS projections, while Top Fighters Tool gives him 26.6% of being in the top six on this card.

Value Pick: Louis Cosce  | DraftKings: $7,100 , FanDuel: $11

Cosce looked poised to score another knockout in his UFC debut against Sasha Palatnikov, only to fade and fall in the third round. He had great moments in his fight with Palatnikov, which leads me to his side against Trevin Giles. Giles has had severe technical decline, extremely poor decision making and lack of durability. Cosce has not fought in almost two years, but I expect he will come out to make a statement, showing that he belongs in the UFC promotion. At 10.5% ownership, he could come with a bid of leverage over the field. Stokastic’s UFC expert projection give him 33% win odds.
