Best Go Bowling at The Glen NASCAR DFS Tournament & GPP Picks | DraftKings & FanDuel

The field has been set for this Sunday’s Go Bowling at The Glen for NASCAR’s fifth road course race of the 2022 NASCAR Season. With Hendrick Motor Sports teammates Chase Elliott and Kyle Larson leading the charge to green on Sunday, let’s dive into the best tournament plays for this weekend’s race.

Watkins Glen NASCAR DFS GPP Picks Today

NASCAR heads to Watkins Glen this weekend to take on their fifth road course race of the year and their only visit to the track this season. Road courses tend to not have much of an emphasis on dominator points with the lack of laps, so finishing position and place differential will be the best way to construct lineups for Sunday.

Kyle Larson $10,500 DraftKings / $13,000 FanDuel (2nd)

The front row is loaded this weekend and with the majority of players running to roster Chase Elliott, do not leave behind Larson who was fastest in practice and dominated this race last season. Hendrick seems to have an edge on the field after practice and qualifying and I will be looking to roster as many as possible in my lineups. He is currently projecting for half the ownership as Elliott, but a similar top 6 driver percentage.

A.J. Allmendinger $9,600 DraftKings / $10,500 FanDuel (6th)

We have been getting the Dinger at a lower price point this season so I am hoping the price bump decreases ownership this weekend. But he was nearly as fast as Larson and Elliott, who were the class of the field on Saturday. He has had many issues this year at road courses, but he has been able to overcome them the past two races on his way to top 10 finishes. He nearly won the COTA race and battled power steering issues at Sonoma. If he can have a clean race he has race-winning upside.

Alex Bowman $8,000 DraftKings / $7,000 FanDuel (11th)

The $8K range is absolutely loaded this weekend with great plays, but the lone Hendrick car could be the one who ends up being the most overlooked. And like I said earlier, I am looking to target this team heavily as all four cars showed great speed on Saturday. Bowman posted top-10 speeds in practice and was able to finish top three at COTA earlier in the season.

Chris Buescher $7,800 DraftKings / $8,000 FanDuel (7th)

Buescher has been a DFS darling at the road course races this season putting up some of the most overall consistent numbers in the series, but the sites continually discount him making Buescher an excellent value play. He is currently projecting for under 3% ownership, despite having the highest-projected ceiling in our Top Drivers Tool. Want access to the tool & more? Sign up today for our NASCAR DFS package!

William Byron $7,700 DraftKings / $7,500 FanDuel (4th)

No surprise here, but another Hendrick driver making his way into the write-up, but, deservedly, so as Willy B was able to post top-five speeds in practice. He has had some terrible luck recently with only one top 10 in the past couple of months, but the speed is there this weekend and if he can stay clean he is in  a prime position to deliver value at a low price point.
