NBA DFS Picks & Advice (February 1)
Washington Wizards vs. Detroit Pistons
This game may be postponed, so be sure to keep an eye on that. If it does take place, Kristaps Porzingis and Bradley Beal are the most appealing options from Washington, while Bojan Bogdanovic and Alec Burks are the best bets for Detroit.
Orlando Magic vs. Philadelphia 76ers
Wendell Carter Jr. is questionable, which means Moritz Wagner or Mo Bamba will likely start in his place and project as very strong values. Meanwhile, Joel Embiid is projected to be the highest scorer on the slate, making him a strong option in a good matchup.
Portland Trail Blazers vs. Memphis Grizzlies
Josh Hart is pulling the most ownership due to a weak small forward position, but he’s going over-owned relative to some alternatives. Jerami Grant is an appealing GPP option, while Damian Lillard has a high ceiling as usual, but point guard is loaded tonight. If Desmond Bane sits for Memphis, Ja Morant, Dillon Brooks and Jaren Jackson Jr. will see a bump.
Brooklyn Nets vs. Boston Celtics
This game doesn’t have any priorities, but high ceilings for Kyrie Irving and Nicolas Claxton at deep positions are worth noting. Seth Curry is likely to start in place of Ben Simmons again, and Robert Williams is back for Boston, making him an interesting GPP pivot off more popular, similarly priced centers.

Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Houston Rockets
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander sees a slight bump with Luguentz Dort out again. Alperen Sengun is a priority, and Eric Gordon sees a bump in production as well.
Golden State Warriors vs. Minnesota Timberwolves
This game doesn’t have any priorities from Golden State. Klay Thompson has shooting guard and small forward eligibility on DraftKings, which makes him easier to get to. Meanwhile, whoever ends up starting at center for Minnesota will be a strong option, with D’Angelo Russell and Kyle Anderson looking the best of the non-centers.
Sacramento Kings vs. San Antonio Spurs
This is a great game environment, and all five starters for Sacramento are strong plays. Domantas Sabonis should dominate in this game, while Jakob Poeltl is down to $5,500 on DraftKings and averages nearly 1.3 fantasy points per minute without Devin Vassell this season. Tre Jones is also very inexpensive at $5,600.
Toronto Raptors vs. Utah Jazz
Precious Achiuwa remains a priority with O.G. Anunoby out. The rest of the Toronto starters are secondary GPP options, with Fred VanVleet looking the best. Meanwhile, Lauri Markkanen is down to $8,400 on DraftKings and is back to being a very strong play.
Atlanta Hawks vs. Phoenix Suns
There are not any standout options from Atlanta with Trae Young back. Chris Paul remains a priority without Devin Booker and DeAndre Ayton is a strong center option. Cameron Johnson is one of the best pivots away from Josh Hart’s ownership at small forward in GPPs.
