Nikola Jokic, C, Denver Nuggets

DraftKings Points Rating: 99 | FanDuel Points Rating: 99

Nikola Jokic is always an elite DFS option, and he unsurprisingly leads all players in our NBA Projections on Saturday’s slate. He’s posted a triple-double in three straight games, and he’s scored at least 62.0 DraftKings points in each of those contests.

As good as Jokic is on a night-to-night basis, he could carry even more value on Saturday. Will Barton is currently questionable with an illness, and he’s served as the Nuggets’ No. 2 offensive option for most of the year. Jokic has increased his usage rate to 35.2% with Barton and Michael Porter Jr. off the court this season, resulting in an average of 1.81 DraftKings points per minute.

Jokic is also popping in the Boom/Bust Probability tool. He’s currently projected for just 26.7% ownership on DraftKings, but he’s appearing in the optimal lineup nearly 32% of the time. That makes him one of the strongest stud values on the slate from a leverage perspective.

Armoni Brooks, PG/SG, Houston Rockets

DraftKings Value Rating: 97| FanDuel Value Rating: 90

The Rockets’ improbable winning streak was snapped yesterday by the Bucks, but they continue to get strong production from unlikely sources. They’ve been playing without both Jalen Green and Kevin Porter Jr. recently, and they’ll be even thinner on Saturday. Eric Gordon will be given the night off for rest, leaving the team without three of their top scoring options.

Brooks has emerged as a legit fantasy option for the Rockets of late. He’s scored at least 30.25 DraftKings points in three of his past five games, including at least 30.25 in each of his past two. He should continue to provide fantasy value on Saturday, especially with Gordon now also out of the lineup. Ultimately, Brooks owns one of the top value ratings in our NBA Projections.

Brooks could also be worth some consideration in the player prop market. Make sure you’re taking advantage of the Awesemo Player Prop tool, which identifies the most exploitable player prop bets each day.

Caleb Martin, SG/SF, Miami Heat

DraftKings Value Rating: 98 | FanDuel Value Rating: 73

Martin has seen a boost in value recently for the shorthanded Rockets, who continue to play without Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo. Martin is coming off the best game of his short career in his last outing, finishing with 49.0 DraftKings points over 33.8 minutes.

That’s definitely on the high side of what you can expect on Saturday, but Martin has averaged 0.92 DraftKings points per minute with Butler and Adebayo off the court. He’s currently projected for 30.1 minutes on Saturday’s slate, and he stands out as one of the strongest value options of the day at just $3,500. He was priced at $3,700 for his last game, so it doesn’t make much sense that he’s less expensive following 49.0 DraftKings points.

The only real issue with Martin is his likely ownership. He’s projected for 41.5% ownership, and he owns an optimal lineup rate of just 25.2%. That’s still one of the top marks on the slate, but it gives him a significantly negative leverage score in the Boom/Bust Probability tool.
