Top 5 DraftKings NBA DFS Picks Today
5. Xavier Tillman, Memphis Grizzlies
Tillman is a center with a salary of $4,600. He is projected to score 28 points and is in the optimal lineup 21% of the time. He is currently playing 28 minutes a game and is the starter without Steven Adams. Tillman averages a fantasy point per minute and is facing the Bulls, who are on a back-to-back. With a consistent 16% usage rate, he has a realistic chance at a double-double, projecting for 10 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 stocks. Despite his relatively low price tag, there is some value in his production. While other value options may become available, Tillman is a solid choice for the center position.
4. Kyle Anderson, Minnesota Timberwolves
Anderson is eligible at the small position with a salary of $4,900. He is projected to score 27.5 points, a goal of 30.5, and is in the optimal lineup 22% of the time. However, he is questionable. If he plays, he is a good value option on a six-game slate, playing 30 minutes a game with a 15% usage rate. He contributes across many statistical categories, averaging 9.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 stocks. Although the matchup against Denver is not the strongest, if the game stays competitive, Anderson is likely to see a full starter run. With the difficulty in filling the small forward and power forward positions, his versatility and price make him a valuable addition to a lineup.

3. R.J. Barrett, New York Knicks
Barrett has a projected score of 36, with a goal of 37.5 and is in the optimal lineup 25% of the time. He averages 0.95 fantasy points per minute, with 27% usage in 37 minutes of play. He averages 23 real points, 6.5 rebounds, almost 3 assists and a stock in a neutral matchup against Orlando. However, he questionable on him, so his availability is uncertain. If he does play, he is expected to play his full starter run, and with his size, the matchup against Orlando fits him well. However, if he is a late scratch, players should pivot to Immanuel Quickley. Despite the uncertainty, Barrett is one of the best plays if he is in.
2. John Collins, Atlanta Hawks
Collins is a power forward/center with a projected score of 29.5 points and a goal of 33 points. He is in the optimal lineup 25% of the time and is expected to play 32 minutes. Collins is a mid-tier player with 0.9 fantasy points per minute and has a pace-neutral matchup against the Pelicans. He is a competitive player with a 17% usage rate, 8.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 2 stocks. At $5,400, Collins is a good value play, and his versatility as a power forward and center makes him a nice addition to a lineup.
1. Brandon Ingram, New Orleans Pelicans
Ingram is $7,100 and is projected for 43, with a goal of 41.5. He is in the optimal line of 34% of the time and is projected for 1.27 fantasy points per minute against the Hawks in a competitive matchup. With no Zion Williamson, Ingram has 31% usage, 24.5 points, 6 boards, 5 assists and a little over a stock. He is simply not priced correctly, and his price will likely rise to over $8,000 within the next two games as long as Williamson is out and nothing happens to him from an injury perspective. Today is the day to take advantage of Ingram, particularly on a six-game slate.
