We only have seven games on today’s NBA fantasy main slate. With a decent-sized slate, there is quite a bit of injury news. Kevin Porter Jr.: $5,800 DraftKings/$5,600 FanDuel | 38.1% DraftKings Boom/30.8% FanDuel Boom

Talented rookie Jalen Green is out for the Rockets tonight. His scoring will need to be replaced, and Kevin Porter Jr. is a likely candidate to step up. He has seen a 4.3% usage bump with Green off the floor this season, averaging an extra four fantasy points per 26 minutes, due to his scoring and rebounding production rising. According to the Awesemo NBA betting model, this Hornets-Rockets game has the highest expected total of the night, which makes it a great opportunity for big performances. This makes sense, since the Rockets have the highest pace in the NBA, while the Hornets rank third.

LaMarcus Aldridge: $5,600 DraftKings/$6,200 FanDuel | 33.9% DraftKings Boom/21.0% FanDuel Boom

LaMarcus Aldridge has been great as of late, playing at least 29 minutes in three of his past four games. In these three games, he attempted double-digit shots and grabbed at least seven rebounds. Aldridge has scored at least 15 points in seven of his last nine games. The Awesemo Boom/Bust Tool gives Aldridge a ceiling of 37 NBA fantasy points tonight, and he is projected to play 29.4 minutes.

Immanuel Quickley: $4,300 DraftKings/$4,100 FanDuel | 40.4% DraftKings Boom/36.2% FanDuel Boom

Immanuel Quickley is a high-ranking player on the Awesemo Boom/Bust Tool for both sites, and he comes with a cheap price tag. However, we need Derrick Rose to continue being inactive for Quickly to maximize his value tonight, with Kemba Walker already being ruled out. Rose has missed a couple of games with an ankle injury, and he is currently being listed as questionable for tonight. While Quickley’s playing time has stayed the same with Rose out, his usage has risen and it has resulted in back-to-back solid performances, due to his assist number rising.

Tyler Herro: $7,300 DraftKings/$7,400 FanDuel | 54.5% DraftKings Bust/70.1% FanDuel Bust

After a strong start to the season, we have seen the salary for Tyler Herro rise pretty high. While it’s earned, it’s tough to ask him to continue producing at a high level tonight, given the tough matchup against Chicago. This Bulls-Heat game has the second-lowest expected total of the night, according to the Awesemo NBA betting model. This makes sense, since the Heat rank fourth in defensive efficiency, while the Bulls rank fifth. Herro doesn’t look worth the price tonight.
