There is a tiny three-game NBA fantasy slate tonight. Still, there is some NBA DFS injury news yet to come out. Be sure to check the Awesemo NBA Starting Lineups page to see who is in, who is out and who is starting as news breaks, and look at the NBA DFS rankings and projections for both DraftKings and FanDuel lineups tonight.
NBA Daily Fantasy Picks: Awesemo Grades | Dec. 7
*Grades are ordered DraftKings, FanDuel. Initial grade indicates a player’s strength of output, with the value grade indicating their strength as a play in relation to their salary.
PF Keldon Johnson — Grades: C, C | Values: B, A
Awesemo’s projections list Keldon Johnson as the third-best value play on both DraftKings and FanDuel tonight in his matchup with the Knicks. Devin Vassell will be out for the Spurs tonight. While this does not seem like a big deal, Vassell averages 9.5 shot attempts per game. His absence could lead to Johnson putting up a couple of more shots, and Johnson has done well whenever he has been asked to be a bit more aggressive on the offensive end of the floor. Getting him to assert himself has been the main issue, but he could make that happen against the Knicks tonight.
PG Jalen Brunson — Grades: C, C | Values: B, A
Dallas continues to have an active injury list. Both Luka Doncic and Tim Hardaway Jr. are listed as questionable for tonight, while Kristaps Porzingis is probable. If any of them miss, it should lead to a bump in usage for Jalen Brunson. Even if they all play, Awesemo’s projections give Brunson the second-best value score on DraftKings and fourth best on FanDuel. The matchup against the Nets is not frightening for fantasy purposes, and Brunson is coming off a solid 15-point, eight-assist performance.
C LaMarcus Aldridge — Grades: B, B | Values: B, A
LaMarcus Aldridge has found his way into this article quite a bit over the past couple of weeks, and for good reason. His price steadily went up for a while, but after a few poor performances, it has dipped once again, making him a solid play. He plays the Mavericks, and their frontcourt presents a solid matchup for him. Aldridge is also coming off a 20-point performance, so he has worked his way out of that mini rut. Awesemo’s projections have Aldridge as the third-leading scorer on the team, behind Kevin Durant and James Harden, which is a good spot for him to be.

C Jakob Poeltl — Grades: B, B | Values: B, B
Jakob Poeltl has been steady, scoring between 29 and 37.25 NBA fantasy points in six straight games. Tonight he faces an inconsistent Knicks frontcourt. The Knicks have dealt with injuries and foul trouble up front all season long, and they will continue to be a shaky part of the team with Poeltl down low tonight. Awesemo’s projections have him a half rebound shy of a double-double tonight.
