There is a big 10-game NBA fantasy slate tonight and plenty of NBA DFS injury news yet to come out. Be sure to check the Awesemo NBA Starting Lineups page to see who is in, who is out and who is starting as news breaks, and look at the NBA DFS rankings and projections for both DraftKings and FanDuel lineups tonight.
NBA Daily Fantasy Picks: Awesemo Grades | Dec. 6
*Grades are ordered DraftKings, FanDuel. Initial grade indicates a player’s strength of output, with the value grade indicating their strength as a play in relation to their salary.
PG Dennis Smith Jr. — Grades: C, B | Values: A, A
Both Damian Lillard and Anfernee Simons are out for the Trail Blazers tonight, which means Dennis Smith Jr. is in line to get another start and hefty workload. He played a whopping 37 minutes last time out, connecting on half of his 14 shots and adding four rebounds, six assists and three steals. He has a knack for grabbing steals, which can rack up NBA fantasy points quickly. Smith is slightly cheaper on FanDuel today, and Awesemo’s projections list him as the second-best value on the slate there.
PG Tyus Jones — Grades: B, B | Values: A, A
Ja Morant continues to be out for the Grizzlies, which means Tyus Jones is the starter for Memphis. He faces a beat-up Heat squad tonight, so it should be a close game. One of Jones’ issues from an NBA fantasy perspective has been the blowouts he has been involved with, so it is good that tonight does not appear to be one of those situations. His minutes should be safe, as should his production since Jones has totaled at least seven assists in three of his past four games while also grabbing at least two steals in three of the past four games as well. Awesemo’s projections give Jones the sixth-highest assist total on the slate tonight.
SG Josh Giddey — Grades: B, B | Values: A, A
After missing the past couple of games due to an illness, Josh Giddey looks ready to make his return to the lineup tonight. His return will be a welcomed one, as the Thunder lost by 73 points last game. He should be the man running the show as well, with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander out for Oklahoma City tonight. Giddey has averaged 1.1 NBA fantasy points per minute with Gilgeous-Alexander off the floor. The Awesemo Boom/Bust Tool lists Giddey as one of the top players to return a boom performance tonight, meaning he is a strong play for both cash and tournament lineups.

SF Miles Bridges — Grades: A, B | Values: B, B
The Hornets will be without their backcourt again tonight, with LaMelo Ball and Terry Rozier both out. With both of them off the floor this season, Miles Bridges has averaged over 1.2 NBA fantasy points per minute. This was on full display last game, with Bridges totaling 32 points, four rebounds, four assists and four defensive stats. While he can be played on both sites tonight, Awesemo’s projections like him better on DraftKings where he is $700 cheaper.
