There is a massive 11-game NBA fantasy slate tonight. With that, NBA DFS injury news will be a big part of tonight’s process. Be sure to check the Awesemo NBA Starting Lineups page to see who is in, who is out and who is starting as news breaks, and look at the NBA DFS rankings and projections for both DraftKings and FanDuel lineups.
NBA Daily Fantasy Picks: Awesemo Grades | Dec. 23
*Grades are ordered DraftKings, FanDuel. Initial grade indicates a player’s strength of output, with the value grade indicating their strength as a play in relation to their salary.
PG Kemba Walker — Grades: B, B | Values: A, A
Kemba Walker was given an inch and he took a mile. Since being reluctantly put back into the rotation, Walker has been making a loud statement for why a team should trade for him. He has averaged 25 points, seven rebounds and four assists over these two games. Walker will continue to play heavy minutes with Derrick Rose, Immanuel Quickley and Miles McBride all out. Rose in particular will be out for the foreseeable future after undergoing ankle surgery. As a result, Awesemo projects Walker to be second on the team in scoring tonight, projected for nearly 20 points.
SG Cam Reddish — Grades: B, C | Values: A, A
Much like last night, nearly everyone is out for the Hawks today. This includes Trae Young, Clint Capela, Kevin Huerter, Danilo Gallinari, De’Andre Hunter, Lou Williams and Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot. This thrusts Cam Reddish into the starting lineup, and he certainly looked comfortable there last night. In 42 minutes Reddish put up 34 points, four rebounds, four assists and two blocks. With not much offense being healthy and available, Reddish will be asked to shoot as much as he can again tonight. Awesemo projects Reddish to finish second on the team in scoring tonight.

PG Delon Wright — Grades: B, B | Values: A, A
For the same reason as above, Delon Wright is in the starting lineup and playing a huge helping of minutes. Awesemo projects Wright to play 35.7 minutes tonight, though he did top this by playing 39 minutes last night. He did not shoot much, making half of his eight shot attempts. However, Wright had seven rebounds and four assists. He has filled up the stat sheet in the past when given more minutes, so he has a high ceiling and a relatively high floor tonight.
C Guillermo Hernangomez — Grades: B, B | Values: A, A
Jonas Valanciunas is out for tonight’s game against the Magic, meaning Guillermo Hernangomez is going to start and play big minutes. He has been a solid fantasy contributor over the years in similar spots. It seems like all he needs is minutes. Hernangomez is going to get those, and he also gets a matchup against an Orlando team that is missing Mo Bamba and possibly Wendell Carter Jr. once again. Awesemo’s projections list Hernangomez as the top overall value play on both DraftKings and FanDuel tonight.
