James Harden – HOU at MIA – DraftKings $10,600, FanDuel $11,100, Yahoo $55 Ownership Rating (preliminary run): DraftKings 27.0%, FanDuel 39.0%
With as many times as I have already featured Harden, there is not much to say other than the highlights. Miami is playing at the eighth-fastest pace this season and Houston is at the top of the list. The Heat do have the fourth-best defensive efficiency at 97.4, but the Rockets counter with a 111.5 offensive efficiency, which is the best in the league. This game tops the projected point totals tonight by 15-20 at 233.5 and who can really guard Harden?
Butler is dealing with a sore quad and may not be as efficient of a defender as he typically is against Harden…not that he is a lockdown guy anyway.
Good Value
Frank Ntilikina – NYK vs. SAC – DraftKings $3,100, FanDuel $3,800, Yahoo $10 Ownership Rating (preliminary run): DraftKings 20.0%, FanDuel 16.0%
So here we are, recommending a Knickerbocker point guard…ugh. Dennis Smith Jr. is away from the team for a family matter. Elfrid Payton is out of action and R.J. Barrett can’t do everything by himself. In a narrow loss to the Celtics in Boston on Friday, Ntilikina played 37.8 minutes as a starter. The two games prior he was off the bench for 29.3 and 22.3 minutes. In the first three games of the season, he saw just over three total minutes of court time. All together now…UGH!
At his low price point, he provides a great deal of flexibility and there is the strong likelihood that his popularity surges as we head towards tip-off. That gives us additional downside protection as we won’t be alone if this ship springs a leak.
Risky Value
Dwight Powell – DAL at CLE – DraftKings $3,500, FanDuel $4,000, Yahoo $13 Ownership Rating (preliminary run): DraftKings 20.0%, FanDuel 18.0%
Maxi Kleber – DAL at CLE – DraftKings $4,200, FanDuel $5,000, Yahoo $11 Ownership Rating (preliminary run): DraftKings 3.0%, FanDuel 3.0%
This duo is quite intriguing with their price and matchup against Cleveland. The downside is that they will likely blunt each other’s upside. Powell is the starter and in the two games he has played this season, he has overlapped just shy of four minutes with Kleber. I will be setting a rule in FantasyCruncher that does not allow them to be on the same lineup together.
For me, Powell gets the slight edge as the starter and because he is cheaper everywhere except Yahoo. Do keep an eye on the news as Kleber is dealing with a sore knee.

With the incredibly user-friendly and flexible rules creation feature on FantasyCruncher, we can take our lineup construction to the next level.
Using the example above where I do not want to have Powell and Maximillian in the same lineup together, I have created a group rule for them.
I have given this rule a name and also checked the “save this group for other days” box so I do not have to recreate it every time the Mavericks are on the schedule.
Final Thoughts
Do not worry about playing chalky players tonight as there will be plenty of ways we can differentiate our lineups.
As always, you can reach out to me in Awesemo.com Premium Slack or on Twitter @EMacDFS if you have any NBA DFS questions about DraftKings, FanDuel, Yahoo or FantasyDraft.
