NBA DFS Point Guard: Coby White $6,400 FanDuel $6,800 DraftKingsÂ
The time has finally come for the rookie out of North Carolina to garner the starting point guard position and for good reason. Coby White has been remarkable coming off the bench for the Bulls. He is averaging 26.8 points per game in his last eight games and 1.20 fantasy points per minute with a 27.0 usage percentage and 19.3 assist rate over the last month. He is also playing over 30 minutes. With him entering the starting lineup, he should get a full complement of time to display his raw talent. He gets a Cavaliers team that is allowing the sixth-most points to opposing offenses and sporting the second-worst defensive rating in basketball.Â
*BONUS ROUND:Â Derrick White, Russell Westbrook, Ricky Rubio, Shaquille HarrisonÂ
NBA DFS Shooting Guard: James Harden $11,200 FanDuel $11,300 DraftKingsÂ
The Rockets haven’t been playing very well as a team lately, losing their last four straight, but this is the spot where it could all change. James Harden gets a Timberwolves team that plays at the third-fastest pace and are allowing the second-most points to opposing offenses, partly because they have no rim protection. As a team, they are the ninth worst in the league defensively with a 112.2 defensive rating. Harden will look to take the lead role and get his team back in the win column. He loves not only jacking 3’s but also attacking the rim, which in return allows him to average 12-15 free-throw attempts per game at an 86% clip. On the season, Harden is averaging in 36 minutes 1.62 fantasy points per minute with a 36.6 usage percentage and 35.4 assist rate, good for 56.4 fantasy points per game.Â
*BONUS ROUND: DeMar DeRozan, Caris LeVert, Devin Booker, Bradley BealÂ
NBA DFS Small Forward: Mikal Bridges $5,400 FanDuel $5,800 DraftKingsÂ
Mikal Bridges has taken advantage of the absence of Kelly Oubre, providing the Suns with great play on both ends of the floor. The second-year forward out of Villanova is producing solid all-around statistics, playing 27-plus minutes per game and producing 8.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists and two combined steals/blocks. For his price, he’s a steal with potential 40-point upside. Over the last month with Oubre and Deandre Ayton off the court, Bridges is averaging 0.96 fantasy points per minute with a 16.2 usage percentage and 6.7 assist rate, which makes for a great low-owned gem we can deploy in GPP’s. Â
*BONUS ROUND:Â Rudy Gay, Tim Hardaway Jr., Paul George, Otto PorterÂ
NBA DFS Power Forward: Aaron Gordon $7,000 FanDuel $7,900 DraftKingsÂ
Since the All-Star break, Aaron Gordon has been crushing value, yet for some reason, his price keeps coming down. He is way underpriced and should garner your full attention, as he has averaged 1.13 fantasy points per minute with a 19.7 usage percentage and 20.6 assist rate over the last month. His usage is low, but Gordon makes that up on the defensive side of the ball, averaging two combined steals/blocks. Add in the extra possessions coming his way versus the Grizzlies who play at the seventh-fastest pace and are allowing 10th-most points to opposing offenses. Gordon is producing in 33.0 minutes per game, 14.5 points, 7.6 rebounds and 3.6 assists which is good for 31.8 fantasy points per game.Â
*BONUS ROUND:Â Robert Covington, Kristaps Porzingis, Kevin Love, Julius RandleÂ
NBA DFS Center: Nikola Vucevic $8,300 FanDuel $9,100 DraftKingsÂ
Nikola Vucevic gets a favorable matchup against the Grizzlies and he has been playing great as of late, averaging 1.35 fantasy points per minute and 42.7 fantasy points per game over the last month. Plus, as was the case with Gordon, Memphis’ pace works to Vucevic’s benefit. He is posting in 32.6 minutes, 19.5 points, 11.0 rebounds, 3.7 steals and two combined steals/blocks per game. The over/under is only 223, but the spread is close with Memphis favored by two, so look for Vucevic to get substantial playing time.
*BONUS ROUND: Hassan Whiteside, Mitchell Robinson, Myles Turner, Andre DrummondÂ
