Kevin Porter Jr. remains sidelined with a bruised left foot, so Alperen Sengun is going to be a core building block for lineups tonight. He’s in a fantastic spot against the Timberwolves, and with Porter out, Houston’s offense is running through Sengun. Minnesota ranks 30th in the NBA against opposing centers, and after playing at least 37 minutes in each of the past three games, there’s no reason to think Sengun won’t continue to see a lot of run. While Sengun’s price tag is up to $8,400 on both DraftKings and FanDuel, it’s fair to wonder if he’s still too cheap, considering he’s averaging 60.6 DraftKings points over his last three games. He is projected to be one of the most popular plays on both sites, and it makes all the sense in the world; Sengun is a clear building block for all lineups tonight.

Payton Pritchard is arguably the top value play on the slate at $3,300 on DraftKings and $3,900 on FanDuel, as he is in a good spot with both Marcus Smart and Malcolm Brogdon out for the Celtics. After playing 26 minutes on Saturday after Smart got hurt, Boston needs Pritchard even more tonight, with Brogdon joining Smart on the sidelines. Pritchard has always been a solid fantasy producer when given good run, and at $3,300 on DraftKings, he is a free square in all formats. While he’s a bit more expensive on FanDuel, he’s still clearly one of the top overall value plays on the slate, as evidenced by the fact that he has the second-highest optimal percentage of any player on the board.
Additional NBA DFS Building Blocks Picks Today – Sports Wagering Opportunities
Paolo Banchero has a 3.5 over/under line on his rebounds prop for his matchup against the Pistons. Stokastic’s NBA DFS projections have him for 3.15 rebounds tonight and a 62% chance of him falling short of 3.5. With both Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton returning to action for the Bucks tonight, this is an easy play on the under.

Timberwolves-Rockets
There is a lot to like on both Minnesota and Houston tonight. On the Timberwolves side, everything starts and ends with Anthony Edwards. He dropped 71 DraftKings points against the Rockets at home on Saturday, and he gets the same matchup in Houston. Rudy Gobert remains questionable for the Timberwolves, and if he sits, Naz Reid once again will look great at $5,300 on DraftKings.
For Houston, Sengun is a clear priority at $8,400 on both DraftKings and FanDuel. Jalen Green also sees a huge boost with Porter out, and coming off arguably his worst game of the season, this is a bounce-back spot. Jabari Smith Jr. remains questionable after missing Saturday’s game, and if he sits again, rookie Tari Eason will emerge as one of the top value plays.
