Arguably the top value play on the slate, it should come as no surprise that Jusuf Nurkic is going to be a core building block for lineups tonight. He gets a great matchup against the Indiana Pacers, and at this price point, he’s a cog in our machine in all formats.
Nurkic is in great form right now as the Bosnian big-man has at least 41 DraftKings points in four out of the past five games. He was especially impressive last night against the Jazz, accounting for 15 points, 14 rebounds, four assists and one block in 39 minutes. Despite Nurkic’s recent production, both DraftKings and FanDuel have him cheaper than he was last night.
Matched up with a Pacers team that ranks dead-last in the NBA against opposing centers, Nurkic couldn’t ask to be in a better spot tonight. Way too cheap on both DraftKings and FanDuel, Nurkic is a core building block across both sites.

Sticking with this contest, in what looks like the potential game of the night from an NBA daily fantasy sports perspective, there is a lot to like on both Indiana and Portland this evening. For the Pacers, Tyrese Haliburton remains questionable. Haliburton has been dealing with a sore left groin, but the star point guard from Iowa State has yet to miss any time. If Haliburton sits, everyone else on Indiana becomes more viable, with players like T.J. McConnel and Myles Turner seeing a huge uptick in usage.
For the Trail Blazers, Anfernee Simons was magnificent last night, accounting for 45 points, two rebounds, four assists, one steal and two blocks in Portland’s win over the Jazz. Priced on both DraftKings and FanDuel for Damian Lillard to be out, however, Simons and everyone else on the Blazers will see their production dip with Dame back on the court. Expected to make his return tonight, temper your expectations for Lillard himself, but know that his return makes everyone else on Portland less desirable. Even if Lillard comes back tonight, Nurkic is still a core building block, as his price and matchup both remain elite.
