NBA DFS Picks: Prime Time Players
Russell Westbrook: Houston Rockets vs. New Orleans Pelicans
DraftKings $10,200, FanDuel $11,200, Yahoo $50 Ownership Rating (preliminary run): DraftKings 44.6%, FanDuel 16.5% Yahoo Fantasy 27.4%
In a fun twist, Russell Westbrook is $200 more than James Harden on FanDuel, but $1,000 less on DraftKings. It is hard to go wrong with either and we have sort of a prisoner’s dilemma shaping up here. It would seem that Harden is dealing with a bit of an injury, but season highs in rebounds (16) and steals (four) in his last game is a good sign.
On FanDuel with the four game slate, you can go either way, but paying more for Westbrook could be something The Masses are not willing to do. On DraftKings it will all come down to their popularity as the $1,000 is nice to have on the abbreviated slate.
Over their last 15 games, New Orleans is in the bottom third of the league allowing 112.9 points per 100 possessions. They are also playing at the fifth-fastest pace with 103.8 possessions per 48 minutes which is only two off of the league lead in the same time frame. Clint Capela is out, so we should see solid minutes again for Danuel House Jr.
NBA DFS Picks: Good Value
Fred VanVleet: Toronto Raptors vs. Chicago Bulls
DraftKings $7,300, FanDuel $7,300, Yahoo $31 Ownership Rating (preliminary run): DraftKings 11.6%, FanDuel 9.9% Yahoo Fantasy 8.6%
Now that both Marc Gasol and Norman Powell are injured again, we can turn to Fred VanVleet in a nice matchup where he should once again get heavy minutes. The Chicago defense is markedly worse against guards without Kris Dunn who has been ruled out today. It is a long shot, but we very well could see VanVleet flirt with a triple-double. At least, that is my hope as I will of course be locking him in for the Fred VanELITE Fan Club No. 50 (I am required to play him, winner of this contest gets 30 FREE days of Awesemo Premium if they are rocking the Awesemo avatar). Click here for details.
VanVleet is producing 1.1 fantasy points per minute this season and we should see him get 32-36 minutes today. As for the triple-double hopes, he will likely fall short in rebounds, though he had eight and seven boards in his last two games, so that is not all hyperbolic dreams.
Donte DiVincenzo: Milwaukee Bucks vs. Phoenix Suns
DraftKings $4,000, FanDuel $4,500, Yahoo $12 Ownership Rating (preliminary run): DraftKings 24.6%, FanDuel 13.4% Yahoo Fantasy 29.4%
This is an early article and Donte DiVincenzo missed Friday’s game with an ankle injury. But by all accounts, he should be good to go 48 hours after that last update. He is a solid, though not spectacular option who will round out our rosters on this three/four-game slate depending on your DFS site of choice.

NBA DFS Picks: SuperDraft
Zion Williamson: New Orleans Pelicans at Houston Rockets – 1.6x multiplier
Pascal Siakam: Toronto Raptors vs. Chicago Bulls – 1.4x multiplier
Eric Bledsoe: Milwaukee Bucks vs. Phoenix Suns – 1.65x multiplier
Our standout SuperDraft recommendation for today is Zion Williamson who again checks in with a healthy 1.6x multiplier and he will not have to deal with Clint Capela who is out with a foot injury. Pascal Siakam gets a decent matchup against an injury-decimated Bulls squad and Toronto will be without Marc Gasol and Norman Powell, which opens up more usage and field goal attempts. Finally, we have Eric Bledsoe in an up-tempo matchup against an inferior opponent with Giannis Antetokounmpo questionable with a tender hamstring.
