Nikola Jokic, C, Denver Nuggets

DraftKings Points Rating: 100 | FanDuel Points Rating: 99

Jokic has been on an absolute heater of late. He has scored at least 62 DraftKings points in five straight games, and he has racked up at least 72.75 DraftKings points in three of them. Jokic has averaging a ridiculous 1.84 DraftKings points per minute over the past month, making him easily the best producer in fantasy on a per-minute basis.

Jokic will not have to do as much heavy lifting on Wednesday with Will Barton expected to return to the lineup, but he still stands out as the clear top stud on the slate. He is projected for more than 62 DraftKings points against the Timberwolves, and no one is else in our NBA Projections is above even 48.57. That is a massive gap.

Jokic has gotten more expensive of late – he is up to $12,200 on DraftKings and $11,500 on FanDuel – but he is arguably still too cheap. He owns the top Value Rating on the Big Board for all players priced above $8,100 on DraftKings and $7,000 on FanDuel.

Jokic is also worth some consideration in the player prop market. The Awesemo Player Prop tool gives him a 69% chance of hitting the over on 12.5 rebounds, resulting in an expected return on investment of +20%.

Alperen Sengun, PF/C, Houston Rockets

DraftKings Value Rating: 97 | FanDuel Value Rating: 89

Sengun is a highly appealing fantasy option on Wednesday’s slate. He has been an outstanding fantasy producer as a rookie, averaging 1.20 DraftKings points per minute, and he has increased his production to 1.29 DraftKings points per minute over the past month.

Sengun could be asked to carry an increased workload against the Cavaliers. Eric Gordon will join Jalen Green and Kevin Porter Jr. on the sidelines, and Christian Wood is not expected to play. That means Sengun has a chance to move into the starting lineup and should see a nice spike in playing time. He started to earn more minutes recently, logging at least 22.4 in his past two games. He took full advantage in those contests, finishing with an average of 34 DraftKings points. It is scary to think what he could do with 30 minutes, which is a realistic possibility if Wood is ruled out.

Max Strus, SG/SF, Miami Heat

DraftKings Value Rating: 96 | FanDuel Value Rating: 63

The Heat are absolutely decimated at the moment. Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, and Tyler Herro are all out with injuries, while Caleb Martin is sidelined due to health and safety protocols. That opens up plenty of playing time for the rest of the roster.

Strus figures to be one of the biggest beneficiaries. He could move into the starting lineup, and even if he does not, he should see a significant number of minutes. We currently have him projected for 27.5 minutes, which is plenty of playing time for someone who costs just $3,100 on DraftKings.

However, Strus does not figure to provide much ceiling, making him a fade candidate in tournaments. He is currently projected for 35.7% ownership – the top mark on the slate – but he owns an optimal lineup rate of just 14.1% in the Boom/Bust Probability tool.
