NBA DFS Value and Advice | February 9
Denver Nuggets vs. Orlando Magic
The Nuggets have been a bit of a mixed bag lately, but there’s no denying the upside of center Nikola Jokic, who is a high-priority option. If Jamal Murray is able to play, he’ll be a strong GPP (guaranteed prize pool) option. If Murray is out, Bruce Brown, Michael Porter Jr. and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope become more interesting as tertiary options. For the Magic, guard Markelle Fultz stands out as the top option, while Wendell Carter Jr. and Paolo Banchero are secondary options.
Phoenix Suns vs. Atlanta Hawks
In the absence of guard Devin Booker, the Suns have several intriguing options, including Chris Paul and Deandre Ayton. If you’re looking for value, keep an eye on Dario Saric, Damion Lee, Josh Okogie, Torrey Craig and Ish Wainright, who are all likely to see increased minutes. For the Hawks, point guard Trae Young is the clear standout on the slate, especially if LeBron James is out for the Lakers later in the night.
Edit: Dario Saric has been traded to the Thunder

Chicago Bulls vs. Brooklyn Nets
The Bulls could have some interesting options if DeMar DeRozan is in the lineup, but if he’s out, Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic become great options. LaVine has been on a scoring tear lately, and Vucevic is coming off a dominant performance. Ayo Dosunmu and Alex Caruso are decent value options as well. As for the Nets, it’s a bit of a mess right now, with plenty of uncertainty around the starting lineup and the trade deadline looming. Nicolas Claxton is a decent option, but beyond that, there’s not much to get excited about.
Milwaukee Bucks vs. Los Angeles Lakers
The Bucks have some of the better fantasy options in Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton. Antetokounmpo is a priority pay-up option, and Middleton is a secondary option with great upside. The Lakers are a bit of a wild card with James questionable, but if he plays, he and Anthony Davis are both strong options. If James is out, Davis becomes a top play and guard Dennis Schroder is likely to see increased minutes and could be a decent value.
Edit: LeBron James OUT tonight.
