NBA DFS Value and Advice | February 28
Lakers vs. Grizzlies
The Lakers will be without LeBron James, and D’Angelo Russell is doubtful, making Anthony Davis a strong pay-up option. He should see increased usage with James out. On the Memphis side, Ja Morant is the top option and should continue to lead the team in scoring. Malik Beasley, Dennis Schroder and Jarred Vanderbilt are all strong value plays for the Lakers, while Morant is the top option from Memphis.
Wizards vs. Hawks
The Wizards will be without Kristaps Porzingis and Monte Morris, leading to increased production for Bradley Beal and Kyle Kuzma. Daniel Gafford, Delon Wright and Deni Avdija should also see increased playing time. Trae Young is one of the many strong pay-up guard options and should be considered in all formats. Clint Capela, Dejounte Murray and John Collins are decent contrarian plays.
Bulls vs. Raptors
There are no clear priorities from either side, but DeMar DeRozan is the most appealing option from the Bulls. Nikola Vucevic and Zach LaVine are fine in tournaments as well. Jakob Poeltl is the best option from Toronto.

Bucks vs. Nets
There are no clear priorities here, but Giannis Antetokounmpo is always a good play. However, there are several higher priorities on this slate. Nic Claxton is the top play from Brooklyn. Plenty of opportunities are available for Spencer Dinwiddie, Cam Thomas, Cameron Johnson and Mikal Bridges, but all are priced correctly.
Kings vs. Thunder
De’Aaron Fox is questionable, which could lead to a bump for Davion Mitchell, Malik Monk and possibly Terence Davis if Fox sits. Domantas Sabonis, Fox and Malik Monk are all contrarian options if Fox plays. Luguentz Dort is a strong value play without Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. Isaiah Joe is risky but projects well if he starts. Josh Giddey should see increased production without Gilgeous-Alexander.
Nuggets vs. Rockets
Jamal Murray is questionable, but Nikola Jokic is always the top play for the Nuggets. Murray and Michael Porter Jr. have high ceilings in a great matchup but are priced appropriately. There are no appealing options for Houston with Jalen Green returning and Kevin Porter Jr. possibly back as well.

Pacers vs. Mavericks
There are no top options from the Pacers, but Myles Turner, Tyrese Haliburton and Buddy Hield are always fine in GPPs. Luka Doncic is always a strong play and has a great matchup, but his production takes a hit with Kyrie Irving active.
Spurs vs. Jazz
Tre Jones is questionable, which could lead to a bump for Malaki Branham and Devonte’ Graham if he sits. Keldon Johnson and Zach Collins are the best plays from the Spurs but are secondary plays overall. Kris Dunn is a top value on the slate with no Jordan Clarkson or Collin Sexton. Talen Horton-Tucker is a strong play as well. Kelly Olynyk, Lauri Markkanen and Walker Kessler also look appealing. This is a great spot for the Jazz.
Timberwolves vs. Clippers
There are no standout options from either side, as both teams are essentially healthy and priced correctly. Paul George will be underpriced if his minutes limit is removed, but it is tough to count on more than 32 minutes.
Trail Blazers vs. Warriors
The Trail Blazers will be heavily reliant on Damian Lillard to generate offense against the Warriors due to injuries to Jusuf Nurkic and Anfernee Simons. While Lillard’s price may be steep, it is justified given his role as the team’s primary scorer. For the Warriors, Donte DiVincenzo could be a good value play, and both Klay Thompson and Jordan Poole offer high-upside options at low ownership.
