Detroit Pistons vs. Cleveland Cavaliers

This game presents a brutal spot for the Detroit Pistons, with limited options to target. Jalen Duren and Jaden Ivey are cheap, but it’s tough to prioritize them in this matchup. For the Cleveland Cavaliers, Darius Garland, Donovan Mitchell, Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen all look good, but none of them stand out as the best option. If Garland and Mitchell are both active, they could both be used in lineups, while Caris LeVert and Ricky Rubio will also become more appealing if one or both of them sit. If both do sit, LeVert becomes a top play while Rubio becomes a strong value option. Mobley’s offensive role could increase as well.

Charlotte Hornets vs. Washington Wizards

The Charlotte Hornets present two top options in Mason Plumlee and LaMelo Ball. Bradley Beal and Kyle Kuzma for the Washington Wizards are questionable, and there isn’t much to like if they play. If either or both of them sit, Kristaps Porzingis will get a boost and Deni Avdija and Corey Kispert will become more appealing.

Philadelphia 76ers vs. Boston Celtics

This game should be exciting to watch but is hard to target for DFS purposes. Joel Embiid and James Harden are always appealing, but their prices are high on this slate. Tobias Harris is cheap, but he’s the distant third or fourth scoring option as long as Embiid is active. From the Boston Celtics, Jaylen Brown and Robert Williams are interesting contrarian options for GPPs.

Indiana Pacers vs. Miami Heat

The Indiana Pacers don’t offer many priorities in this tough matchup. Tyrese Haliburton, Buddy Hield and Myles Turner all offer upside but are priced correctly for the matchup. For the Miami Heat, they should be the most popular team on the slate, with 10 active bodies but likely only eight to play. Gabe Vincent is a top value option, while Tyler Herro, Bam Adebayo and Jimmy Butler are all mid-range options to consider. Max Strus and Haywood Highsmith offer sub-$4,000 value, while Caleb Martin has the least appealing projection but is also contrarian.

San Antonio Spurs vs. Toronto Raptors

Tre Jones and Keldon Johnson are questionable for the San Antonio Spurs. Jakob Poeltl is the most interesting play, while Jones and Johnson are fine options for tournaments. If they miss, it opens up minutes for Josh Richardson, Keita Bates-Diop, Malaki Branham and Stanley Johnson, but most of their prices are elevated at this point. The Toronto Raptors are in a great matchup, but their prices are more expensive than usual. Gary Trent Jr. is the easiest to fit into lineups, followed by Fred VanVleet. Pascal Siakam, Precious Achiuwa, Scottie Barnes and Chris Boucher are more difficult to get to, but they make for strong contrarian plays.

Sacramento Kings vs. Houston Rockets

This game offers a great environment without much ownership due to correctly priced players. Any of the Kings starters are good options to differentiate GPP lineups, with Alperen Sengun being a favorite contrarian play. Jalen Green is also pulling more ownership but has a massive ceiling.

Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Utah Jazz

With injury news yet to come in for Minnesota, it’s hard to make a solid decision for this game. However, Rudy Gobert is a strong play for DFS purposes. Meanwhile, Kyle Anderson is another player to keep an eye on, as his status will also impact the lineup. If Anderson is inactive, it will increase the value of players like Taurean Prince and Jaylen Nowell. Kelly Olynyk remains a solid option at a cheap price, while Mike Conley, Jordan Clarkson and Lauri Markkanen are secondary GPP options.

Dallas Mavericks vs. Los Angeles Clippers

This game is one of the least appealing for DFS purposes, along with the games between Boston and Philadelphia. Despite having a high ceiling, Kyrie Irving is correctly priced for his level of production. Meanwhile, Paul George, Kawhi Leonard and Ivica Zubac are decent contrarian options, but there is no standout player in this game. Marcus Morris is slightly underpriced at $4,400, making him a player to consider for DFS lineups.

Golden State Warriors vs. Portland Trail Blazers

Jordan Poole is once again a top play for DFS on this slate. If Jonathan Kuminga starts, he is a strong value play. Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins and Draymond Green are all secondary options for Golden State. On the Portland side, all five starters are projected to be strong plays with high ownership. With Damian Lillard not having as much opportunity cost compared to most slates, he is a player to consider for lineups.
