Donovan Mitchell Under 5.5 Assists
On the surface this seems like a good matchup for Mitchell to get some assists since the Spurs are sixth in pace and dead last in defensive rating, but Stokastic isn’t projecting it that way. After all, every game is a pace up for the Cavaliers since they rank 30th in pace. Plus, pace-up opponents have not necessarily boosted Mitchell’s numbers all that strongly. He has played five games against the teams ahead of the Spurs in pace and has only hit this over in two of those five, averaging 5.0 assists per. Overall, he has only recorded six assists or more in 20 of 48 games (41.7%)
Stokastic’s PrizePicks NBA player props tool projects Mitchell for only 4.4 assists tonight, well below the 5.5 threshold, while Ricky Rubio is projecting to nearly match Mitchell’s assist number in about half as many minutes (4.0 assists in 17.7 minutes).

Mikal Bridges Over 3.5 Rebounds
Bridges has only played one game with his new team, but he recorded six rebounds against the 76ers. Now, Philadelphia is a mediocre rebounding team and tonight’s opponent, the Knicks, rank fourth in rebound rate, but Bridges is in a position to play a ton for this Nets team. Stokastic is projecting him for 36.4 minutes tonight, seventh most on the entire slate, and he averages 4.3 rebounds per 36 minutes. At that rate, and ignoring the fact that he is arguably the Nets’ best all-around player, Bridges projects for 4.4 rebounds tonight, comfortably ahead of the 3.5 line.
Even while playing most of the season with Phoenix, a team that ranks seventh in rebound rate, Bridges has hit this over in 61.4% of games in 2022-23. Dorian Finney-Smith and Nic Claxton project for more boards in this game, but Bridges projects for more minutes, so the opportunities will be there for him to put up strong stats. As such, PrizePicks NBA player props tool gives this over a 69% chance of hitting.
