🏀 SuperDraft NBA Fantasy Picks for Monday, 3/29

After yesterday’s underwhelming four-game slate, the NBA is in full swing today with 11 games — 10 of which are included on tonight’s slate at SuperDraft. Here are the key players to feature and fade when making NBA SuperDraft lineup picks.

If you haven’t heard of SuperDraft, it’s an innovative new way to play DFS. Instead of using a salary cap, players receive multipliers that inversely correspond to their value. For example, James Harden will come with a lower multiplier because he should play most of the game. In comparison, a rotational player like Jae Crowder will receive a higher multiplier to compensate for his limited minutes. Plus, Awesemo has expert projections from No. 1 DFS player in the world Alex “Awesemo” Baker to help you get to the winner’s circle.

SuperDraft NBA Fantasy Picks + Lineup Advice | March 29

Top Five Low-Multiplier Plays

Using Awesemo’s SuperDraft NBA Projections and OddsShopper’s projected point totals, here are the top five high-value players for your NBA SuperDraft lineup. For a player to qualify, they must have a multiplier at or below 1.40x.

Julius Randle (1.2x)

The Awesemo rankings adore Randle despite the fact that he’ll play in the game with the slate’s lowest total (205), per OddsShopper. That’s because he is a walking double-double who can even triple-double in the right circumstances. At a multiplier this high, Randle is a must-have tonight.

Kawhi Leonard (1.2x)

The Clippers will take on the Bucks in primetime, and the game has been pegged for the second-most points (232). Leonard has gone for 25-plus points in his last three outings, and he should keep the momentum rolling against the vulnerable Milwaukee defense.

Kristaps Porzingis (1.3x)

Porzingis has been on the up-and-up recently. He was a rebound away from back-to-back double-doubles, and he averaged 30 points, 13.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists over his last two games. The Mavericks have an easy matchup with the depleted Thunder; expect Porzingis to capitalize.

Nikola Vucevic (1.2x)

Vucevic looked solid for the Bulls in his first game with the team — he finished with 21 points, nine rebounds and three assists over 31 minutes played. Though Chicago lost that game by a 16-point margin, they should have an easier time keeping up with the Warriors. It helps that Golden State struggles against opposing centers.

James Harden (1x)

Harden is making a real case to win MVP. He may not have a multiplier tonight, but he’ll play in what should be the slate’s highest-scoring matchup (239). Since Minnesota and Brooklyn both rank top 10 in pace, this could turn into a barnburner.

NOTE: Collin Sexton (1.45x) and Jerami Grant (1.5x) don’t qualify as low-multiplier plays, but they rank first and second in our SuperDraft NBA Projections.

Top Five High-Multiplier Plays

These picks will also be based upon Awesemo’s SuperDraft NBA Projections and OddsShopper’s projected point totals to identify the top five low-value players for tonight’s slate. For a player to qualify, they must have a multiplier at or above 1.60.

Ivica Zubac (1.65x)

Serge Ibaka has already been ruled out for tonight’s game, so you can trust Zubac to play a ton of minutes against the Bucks. He has averaged 11.7 points, 9.1 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game since Ibaka went down. However, it is worth noting that his minutes have ticked down over the last two games as the Clippers have opted to give Nicolas Batum more minutes.

Derrick White (1.75x)

White has looked solid in recent days. He has averaged 15.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and three assists per game through his last four, and with the Spurs facing what should be a high-scoring battle against the defensively inept Kings (229.5), White should continue to produce for NBA SuperDraft lineups.

Keldon Johnson (1.8x)

While Johnson hasn’t looked as good as White, he has a ton of upside in a matchup like this one. The Kings rank dead last in defensive efficiency, and they have struggled against opposing forwards. Johnson has a ton of upside at a multiplier this high.

Saben Lee (2x)

You can get double the points on Lee tonight. He entered Detroit’s starting lineup on Saturday, and he turned his 25 minutes into 6 points, five rebounds and five assists. Lee should continue to get extra minutes with Delon Wright now in Sacramento.

O.G. Anunoby (1.65x)

Anunoby went off against the Trail Blazers last night for 19 points, 10 rebounds and three assists. He has played 38 minutes in each of Toronto’s games since the trade deadline, and he should continue to see that level of work against the Pistons tonight.

Five SuperDraft NBA Fade Picks

Here are some players that our projections say you should avoid when building your NBA SuperDraft lineup.

LaMarcus Aldridge (1.65x)

Aldridge hasn’t played a minute for the Nets yet, but his multiplier is higher than most alternatives at forward. He last played in an NBA game on March 1, so don’t expect him to see enough usage to warrant his multiplier tonight.

Naz Reid (1.75x)

The Awesemo rankings are now popping with Reid this evening. He hasn’t seen more than 20 minutes since March 11, and that dwindling usage makes him a risky play at best.

Jordan Poole (1.45x)

Poole hasn’t been bad for Golden State, but he hasn’t been good enough to justify a multiplier this low. He has averaged 17 points, 2.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists over his last three games. For some perspective, you can get Jerami Grant or Dejounte Murray at the same multiplier.

Kelly Olynyk (1.6x)

Olynyk looked solid in his Houston debut. However, he started in place of Christian Wood, and Wood might be able to play this evening. If he does, leave Olynyk out of your lineup until the Rockets paint a clearer picture on how they intend to use him alongside Wood.

Gary Trent Jr. (1.35x)

Unlike Olynyk, Trent has struggled for his new team. He is yet to score in double figures, and his accuracy has fallen off considerably. Let Trent get his feet under him in Toronto before including him in NBA SuperDraft lineups.
