Top 5 DraftKings NBA DFS Picks Today

5. Klay Thompson, Golden State Warriors

Thompson is projected for 38 points and priced at $7,000, with a goal of 48 points. He appears in the optimal lineup 14% of the time, going for 34 minutes and earning over a fantasy point per minute. In addition, he is in a favorable matchup against the Thunder, where he is expected to score 23.5 points, grab nearly five rebounds, have two assists and one stock. The fact that he has guard and forward eligibility adds to his flexibility and value.

4. Jordan Goodwin, Washington Wizards

Goodwin has a low $4,000 price tag and projects for 25 points, with a goal of 33 points. Goodwin is in the optimal lineup 14% of the time and has a per-minute rate of 1.15 fantasy points. In a pace-up game against the Milwaukee Bucks, Goodwin has the potential to earn more than the projected 22 minutes due to the absence of multiple players on the Wizards. With a projection of 10 points, 4.5 rebounds, four assists, and maybe a stock and a half, Goodwin offers good value for the price.

3. Saddiq Bey, Atlanta Hawks

With a price tag of $4,800 and projected for 26 points, Bey is in the optimal lineup 14% of the time. He is expected to play around 30 minutes, averaging 0.85 fantasy points per minute. Bey projects for 13.5 points, almost six rebounds, two assists and a stock per game. With the potential absence of De’Andre Hunter and Trae Young, Bey’s role on the team is likely to increase. While the matchup against Chicago may not be the best pace matchup, it should be a competitive game with a 3.5-point line.

2. Donte DiVincenzo, Golden State Warriors

DiVincenzo’s positional flexibility is a significant factor in his selection, as he is eligible for both point guard and small forward positions. He is priced at $4,100 and projected for 23.5 points, with a goal of 33.5 points and a 14% optimal rate. In a pace-up matchup against the Thunder, DiVincenzo is expected to play around 25 minutes and produce around 0.9 fantasy points per minute. He is projected to score 9 points, grab five rebounds, dish out three assists, and record a stock and a half. Given his price and positional eligibility, DiVincenzo is a solid pick for DraftKings DFS lineups, although there may be more value picks available closer to lock.

1. Delon Wright, Washington Wizards

Wright is eligible as a point guard and priced at $5,500, with a projected 34 points and a goal of 40. He’s in the optimal lineup 17% of the time, and with Monte Morris, Bradley Beal, Kyle Kuzma and Kristaps Porzingis out, Wright is expected to play 30-plus minutes and have a much bigger usage rate than normal. He projects for 1.1 fantasy points per minute, with 19% usage, 13 points, 5.5 assists, five rebounds and 2.5 stocks. He may be facing Milwaukee as a massive underdog, but the game is a pace-up spot and Wright’s current price is not reflective of his current role.
