NBA DFS Value and Advice | March 21
Washington Wizards vs. Orlando Magic
The Wizards are on the road to face the Magic and will be without Kyle Kuzma. The absence of Kuzma will lead to increased production for Bradley Beal and Kristaps Porzingis. Deni Avdija and Corey Kispert will also see increased playing time. For Orlando, Jalen Suggs is out, which means Cole Anthony and Markelle Fultz are in play. Wendell Carter Jr., Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner are also good plays.
Detroit Pistons vs. Atlanta Hawks
The Pistons will be without Jalen Duren, while Isaiah Livers and R.J. Hampton are questionable. If either of them misses the game, the minutes will become more stable for the rest of the team. James Wiseman and Marvin Bagley are likely to see increased playing time. For the Hawks, Dejounte Murray is questionable, which could lead to Trae Young being a great play. Bogdan Bogdanovic will also be a better play. Clint Capela and Onyeka Okongwu are both risky, but they offer upside at their respective salaries.

Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Brooklyn Nets
Jarrett Allen is questionable for the Cavaliers. If he returns and isn’t limited, he is underpriced, and it benefits Evan Mobley if he misses again. Darius Garland is underpriced at $7,500 on DraftKings, while Donovan Mitchell and Mobley are both high-upside, contrarian plays. For the Nets, nothing stands out. Nic Claxton is the most appealing option, but there are a lot of similarly priced center plays.
San Antonio Spurs vs. New Orleans Pelicans
Tre Jones is doubtful and Devonte’ Graham is questionable for the Spurs. Zach Collins and Devin Vassell are out, which means Sandro Mamukelashvili is likely to start again and projects as a strong point-per-dollar play. Keldon Johnson offers a high ceiling but is also projected to be over-owned at a price range with no shortage of alternatives. If Graham starts, he will be a strong value. Brandon Ingram and C.J. McCollum are both high-upside options in a great matchup. Jonas Valanciunas has played 30-plus minutes in two straight games, and Larry Nance Jr. admitted that he is still struggling with his injury, so it is possible that Valanciunas continues to play the bulk of the minutes. Nance is extremely risky, but he is also cheap and low-owned with a high ceiling if he is feeling better.

Boston Celtics vs. Sacramento Kings
Robert Williams is expected to be back for the Celtics. There are no top priorities, but Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are always strong plays. Marcus Smart is the most appealing option from the rest of the team. It’s a tough matchup for the Kings, but a cheap $8,300 DraftKings price tag on De’Aaron Fox is appealing. Domantas Sabonis is only projected for 3% ownership on DraftKings, making him interesting in tournaments.
Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Los Angeles Clippers
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Josh Giddey and Jalen Williams are all good plays for the Thunder. For the Clippers, Paul George, Kawhi Leonard, Russell Westbrook and Ivica Zubac are all good differentiation plays, though they are not worth that much exposure individually.
