NBA DFS Value and Advice | March 29

Milwaukee Bucks at Indiana Pacers

The Milwaukee Bucks have a good matchup against the Indiana Pacers. Khris Middleton is questionable, and if he sits, there will be a bump for Jrue Holiday, who can offer value. Giannis Antetokounmpo is the top play from the team, while Jordan Nwora, T.J. McConnell and Bennedict Mathurin can provide value for the Pacers. Andrew Nembhard has contrarian appeal, and Jalen Smith and Isaiah Jackson become playable if Myles Turner sits.

Miami Heat at New York Knicks

Kyle Lowry is not expected to play and Jimmy Butler missed yesterday’s game, so he is questionable. If Butler plays, Tyler Herro looks like the best option, and Bam Adebayo and Butler will be viable as well. If Butler is out, Herro and Adebayo look better and open up value in Victor Oladipo, Caleb Martin and Max Strus. Jalen Brunson is questionable for the Knicks, and if active, he is a secondary option, as is Julius Randle. If he sits, Immanuel Quickley is a secondary option at his increased salary.

Update: Jimmy Butler is probably, Kyle Lowry upgraded to questionable.

Houston Rockets at Brooklyn Nets

The Houston Rockets are double-digit road dogs but can provide a high risk/high reward option for daily fantasy players. Alperen Sengun, Kevin Porter Jr. and Jalen Green are the most appealing options. The Brooklyn Nets are in a great spot, and Mikal Bridges and Spencer Dinwiddie look great, while Nic Claxton and Cameron Johnson are solid options.

Dallas Mavericks at Philadelphia 76ers

Joel Embiid and James Harden are questionable, and this game is unappealing if they both play. Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving, Embiid and Harden are always playable, but there isn’t much to see beyond that.

Latest NBA DFS Content

Los Angeles Lakers at Chicago Bulls

The Lakers are healthy for the first time in a while, and assuming LeBron James plays, they’re facing an extremely slow Chicago team. The Bulls are a little bit more appealing, as the pricing on their “Big Three” has come down. Zach LaVine looks the best of the trio, but Nikola Vucevic and DeMar DeRozan are viable tournament plays as well.

Detroit Pistons at Oklahoma City Thunder

Jalen Duren and James Wiseman offer inexpensive upside at center, with Duren looking like the better of the two. Marvin Bagley played 36 minutes last game, and there is some upside at his salary. Killian Hayes and Jaden Ivey are secondary options as well. With Shai Gilgeous-Alexander out again, Josh Giddey and Jalen Williams are viable options.

Los Angeles Clippers at Memphis Grizzlies

Norman Powell is questionable for the Clippers, and if he is not on a substantial minutes limit, he offers some value. Russell Westbrook and Kawhi Leonard are decent contrarian plays. Ja Morant is back for the Grizzlies and looks good at just $9,000 on DraftKings after playing about 30 minutes in his last game. Nothing else looks very good from Memphis.

Utah Jazz at San Antonio Spurs

Lauri Markkanen is questionable but looks excellent if he plays. Walker Kessler, Talen Horton-Tucker and Kelly Olynyk should be pulling more ownership than they are in tournaments given the excellent matchup. Zach Collins is one of the most popular centers at only $6,400 on DraftKings. There is plenty of production available for the Spurs without Keldon Johnson, Devin Vassell or Jeremy Sochan. Tre Jones and Devonte’ Graham offer value as well.

Update: Lauri Markkanen ruled out.

Minnesota Timberwolves at Phoenix Suns

Rudy Gobert, Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards are all interesting at very low ownership in tournaments — especially Gobert and Towns. Kevin Durant is back for the Suns. Nothing stands out, but there is certainly nothing wrong with landing on a little bit of Chris Paul or Devin Booker at virtually no ownership.

Sacramento Kings at Portland Trail Blazers

This is a great game environment for fantasy points. De’Aaron Fox is too cheap at $8,200. The rest of the Kings are correctly priced and not very popular. The Trail Blazers are missing half their team again. Cam Reddish is likely out this time as well. Drew Eubanks, Nassir Little, Kevin Knox and Keon Johnson project as the best values.
